something or someone you love is taken
away.

E. Discussion

Grief is an emotion we feel when we

lose someone. It’s not just the ones who
died, It’s also the bad breakups that you
really lost a part of your heart.

- It is defined as having something or

someone leave or be taken away
from you.

Loss is when you lose someone you love

in your life. and when we lose a loved
one, we will mourn or grieve.

Just like Marj's dog died. That is an

example of loss, because she lost her

( Students raising their hand)
Why it is important to Grieve?

Why it is important to Grieve?

Yes Nika?
The grieving process is an important part of
healing and learning to adjust to life
without someone you love so deeply. First
and foremost, it is important to recognize
your feelings, give yourself time and space
to grieve, and take care of yourself after a
loss.

When we love someone, we attach

ourselves to that person, grieving is
detaching and letting go so we can
move on, not forgetting but
remembering the joy between two lives.

Grieving is an essential element of

therapy.

So let’s move on to the Coping with the

grief and loss.

Coping with the loss of someone or

something you love is one of life’s
biggest challenges. You may associate
grieving with the death of a loved one—
which is often the cause of the most
intense type of grief—but any loss can
cause grief, including:

1. Divorce or relationship breakup

2. Loss of health
4. Loss of financial stability
1. Death of a pet
2. Loss of a cherished dream
4. Loss of a friendship
5. Loss of safety after a trauma
6. Selling the family home

Whatever your loss, it’s personal to you,

so don’t feel ashamed about how you
feel, or believe that it’s somehow only
appropriate to grieve for certain things.
If the person, animal, relationship, or
situation was significant to you, it’s
normal to grieve the loss you’re
experiencing. ( Students raising their hand)

How to cope with grief
