My Future Students
1. Punctual – Being in the class on time and
doing their activities on time.
2. Responsible – They never blame their
mistakes or flaws on excuses; instead, they
accept full responsibility for their acts and
accept the consequences of their actions.
3. Diligent – A student should be determined
towards his/her studies. They should be
ready to work hard in order to achieve their
goals.
4. Attentiveness - They care being attentive on
what the teacher is attempting to convey
during lectures, which helps a lot because
they don’t have to try to understand a
subject on their own after class since they
didn’t pay attention during the lecture.
5. Courteous – Showing respect to teachers,
school staff, seniors, and fellow students.

Myself as a Future Teacher
1. Empath – As a future educator, I believe that
possessing the ability to understand what
your students are feeling or experiencing is
vital to address the root issue that’s causing
a student to fail or perform poorly.
2. Patient – Having a reserve of patience will
make it easier, for me, to work through each
student’s unique struggles and challenges,
which may be difficult to overcome.
3. Creative – I need the ability to innovate,
think outside the box, and find novel
solutions to challenges, which will empower
me to meet a wider range of students’
needs. I also believe that being creative as
an educator will also help me foster
creativity in my students.
4. Engaging and Adaptable – I need to
generate engagement and enthusiasm in my
class since students nowadays are
perceptive and can easily tell when teachers
are bored by or apathetic toward their own
material. I also need to be flexible since it
allows me to flow between different theories
of learning and modes of teaching.
5. Active Listener – To effectively diagnose
and help overcome my students’ unique
struggles and challenges, I need to seek
feedback, encourage honesty, provide ways
for students to contact me easily, and be
attentive whenever listening, always trying to
read between the lines and assess body
language

b) What are your qualities that would enable your future learners to learn from you? The qualities that
would enable my future learners to learn from you are the following: empathy, patience, creativity,
engagement and adaptability, and active listening.

c) What is your philosophy in life? I believe my philosophy in life is what Aristotle stated that was put in a
book called The Nicomachean Ethics, p. 58, which states, “It is our choice of good or evil that
determines our character, not our opinion about good or evil.”
