The company outsource their expertise to a range of small and medium sized organisations in Istanbul Turkey. Your manager asked you to prepare a document to explain the function of computer systems to new employees. The document should address the following points: 1.1 Explain the role of computer systems in different environments such as home, business, computer gaming, networking, real-time, communication. (P1.1) 1.2 With the aid of (Diagram, Illustration, and Pictures), Explain the various components of a computer system in terms of hardware, software and peripheral items according to following: © Hardware: CPU, Motherboard, Power Supply Unit, Cooling Units, Storage, RAM, Performance Factors, etc. © Software: Operating Systems, Utility Programs, Applications Software, etc... * Peripherals: Printers, plotters, Cameras, Scanners, keyboard, Mouse, Monitors, etc... The reason behind that is to check all the hardware and software procedures. Build and configure a typical computer system according to the following: * Show the process (in step by step) of assembling a typical computer, including the Health and safety procedures. * Describe in (step by step Process), how you would install the operating system and configure the essential setting. The following steps needs to be covered as part of the routine maintenance tasks checklist: 1: Clean the hardware, 2- Backup the data, 3- Guard against malware 4- Update the software. 5- Cleanup unnecessary files. 6 Change login password 7- Optimize startup. 8- Defragmentation. 9- Use compression utility. 110- Schedule maintenance tasks. (P4.1, M2) 4.2 Upgrade the hardware and software on a computer systems according to the following: © With the aid of (Screenshots and/or Photos and/or Videos}, Install and configure @ printer (print a test page). * ABC Horizon has decided to train professionals in 4K video editing. Suggest the necessaries hardware/software upgrades to your Task 2 design specifications. (P4.2, D3) To achieve M2, you will have used applied suitable techniques to backup the data and justify your choice for backup strategy. © To achieve D3, you must be able to demonstrate that you have applied innovative and creative thought in meeting ABC Horizon needs. To achieve D2, To achieve D2 you will have demonstrated an effective approach to independent research and study and will have met the deadline to submit the tasks and achieve the unit assessment criteria (All Tasks).
