THE INTRODUCTION

Every action provokes a reaction. Newton’s 3rd law interprets not only the relationship
between bodies and “momentum” in classical mechanics but also human relations and the
“momentum” that defines them. Relations with others and with our own selves. The
relationship of the past with the present. The relation between the perpetrator and the
victim. Family dramas, love affairs of infidelity, serial killers, crimes of honor, passion,
revenge, punishment, necessity. Stories based on true facts coming from police reporting
having shocked the public opinion are now dramatized on TV.

These stories will be developed in two levels: in the present and in the past. In action and
then, reaction.

INTRODUCE THE SPECS

Characters are introduced gradually, as the story unfolds using flashbacks at key moments
hence slowly and meticulously drawing the profiles and backgrounds of the people leading
each story. We take things backwards as another way to depict how our characters
reached the point we have first “met” them. What leads to the crime committed is hidden in
the events that preceded “now”. Cause and effect only backwards.

This TV anthology series can be aired on the following networks: TBS, Fox, The WB,
Universal, Paramount Network.

MARKETABILITY: While crime and murder stories are generally widespread on tv or

streaming providers, the way this story is told and the directoral approach will be unique.
Ages 15+

LOGLINE: No one can escape divine judgement.

SETTING: Stories will be taking place in different locations and periods in Greece, Europe
and the Americas.

DIVE INTO STORY

The series consists of 13 different stories that all lead to the tracking down of a perpetrator
and reaching successful discoveries about the whys and hows of several crimes. All
leading characters are people that live next and among us. It could be someone you know,
or used to know, or to your benefit have never met… yet. Stereotypes or not we follow the
threads only backwards… from the deed to the way ending up to the why.

Passion, power, money, betrayal just four of many causes for crimes that can relate to
everyone. Location matters not as much as motives and inner processes do. How perfect
can a murder be? What is there missing and when did the villain became one?
CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS

There are no set characters in this anthology. Self-contained episodes featuring new
characters each time, all inspired by true events. There to despise or even maybe identify
with, “next door” neighbors and not. Various ages, various backgrounds, origins and
locations.
