Gluing numbers
You will need: cardboard, printer, dotting pen, ruler, scissors, glue

S/aga t. Candboand

Choose thick cardboard for crafts. We

recommend using 200-300g/m2
cardboard for masks, small and
medium figurines. For larger figurines,
you can use thicker cardboard. Each
project requires a certain number of sheets
in the appropriate colors. As well as a
certain sheet format. This information can
be found in the project description.

S/aga 2. §niv/ivg
Print the template on the printer.
You can print directly on designer
paper if your printer supports thick
paper. If your printer can only print on
thin office paper, you can print on
regular sheets and use them as a
template. To do this, glue the template
printed on thin sheets
to the design cardboard on
double-sided tape or PVA glue.

Push the line of future bends. These
lines are designated as dotted and dash-
dotted lines. Use a dotting pen for this.
You can also use other hard and thin metal
objects that won't scratch the paper, but will
leave a dent on the paper. Just place the
ruler along the line and trace the dotting pen

Bend all the cut pieces. The
places of bending are indicated
by dotted and dash-dotted
16B lines. Follow the rule: dotted line
is a valley, dash-dotted line is a
mountain. Prepared bends greatly
simplify further assembly.

Arrange the pieces in descending order, the pieces numbered 1 will be on top. So, you
will start with part 1, glue part 2 to it, then part 3, and so on in ascending order. Parts can also
be called A and B, they indicate symmetrical parts, such as legs or ears of a figure. You
need to glue the pieces together using gluing numbers. Glue by the same numbers in such a
way that the flags for gluing is inside the figure. Use whatever glue you are
comfortable with, we recommend using hot glue.

For an adult prints in 100% scale. For kids, select the 90% or 80% scale. Select 80%
or 90% scaling in the printer settings to print a smaller mask pattern. Thus, the template
will be printed on A4 format, but not with full page filling.
