4A's Lesson Plan for Interior Angles

Grade Level: 7th grade

Subject: Mathematics

Topic: Interior Angles

Duration: 1 hour

Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Define interior angles and identify them in geometric figures


- Understand the relationship between the sum of interior angles and the number of sides of a
polygon
- Apply the knowledge of interior angles to solve problems involving polygons

Materials:
- chalkboard and chalk
- Television

Procedure:
1. Anticipatory Set (Accessing Prior Knowledge)
- Show a few geometric figures on the television and ask the students to identify their angles..

2. Aim (Stating Objectives)


- Explain the lesson's objective and what students will be able to do by the end of the lesson.

3. Activity (Input)
- Define interior angles and explain how to identify them in geometric figures.
- Discuss the relationship between the sum of interior angles and the number of sides of a
polygon.
- Provide examples of calculating the sum of interior angles for different polygons.

- Use geometric figures and let the students calculate the sum of the interior angles based on their
