SERIAL KILLER DOCUMENTARY REFLECTION

"CASANOVA KILLER"

Paul John Knowles or also known as the "Casanova Killer". I wwass intrigued

when I watched the documentary, to think a man can do such am act that was so

inhumane or rather horrifying. He lest such a legacy that no one could forget. A man

such as Paul John Knowles was described smart and good looking individual, who

could have thought he was a muderer. This man wanteed fame by recording audio

tapes of his killings, he wanted a book written after him or making a movie of his life

but due to the fact who would want to see a movie about a maniac killing dozens of

innocent men, women and children.

Traveling across the state leaving a dead body everywhere he goes and

feeling no regret or remorse of what he has done. One would ask what is going on in

the head of that man his lust for death. But when you gi back to the documentary

during his childhood days he was institutionalized from foster homes to prison it was

a gray life for a child. He was sent to a school called "Dozier School for Boys" where

there were records brutal beatings and a cullture of abuse. To think of it when a

child go through such a thing it can affect his mental behavior when he grows up as

an adult. Studies have proven that being in the foster care system can increase a

child's risk of becoming a violent criminal.

Serial killers typically have a specific Modus Operandi that they follow for

their kills. Fo example Jack the Ripper, most experts point to deep slash wounds to

the throat, followed by extensive abdominal and genital are mutilition, the removal

of enternal organs, and progressive facial mutilation as the distinctive features of the

MO, but Knowles didn't have any known rituals, motives or MO he used when

selecting and killing victims. Former police officer Jimmy Josey outright told

reporters the Casanova Killer had no discernible motive or pattern.

Based on what I have searched and watched the documentary the disorder

of Paul John Knowles I think based on my perspective is that it is " Borderline

Personality Disorder". Because Knowles action and behavior were very impulsive, he

had intense swings of rage, and problems with his father and Angela Paul John

Knowles was not an ordinary man but an inhumane one, doing what he wants to do

disregarding the rights of fellings of others.
