PURSUING SOLUTIONS

1. Tackle it effectively
2. Provide enough freedom to
the employees for solving
issues accordingly
ADVANTAGES OF SOLVING THE ISSUE.
1. Increases understanding: As it is explained earlier that team problem-solving
methods can increase better communication between people from the same
group and apparently such behavior can lead them to build better understanding
between teammates.
2. Increased number of solutions: Most of the time while working in an organization
whenever some sort of problem occurs, then the organization heads will consider
their experienced employees to understand the problem and try to get the possible
solution for such problems
3. Encourages creative ideas: As most of the team members working in a particular
team will be equally provided a chance of presenting their own creative ideas
while discussing something necessary for the welfare of the company
THREE RISKS INVOLVED IN
PURSUING
SOLUTIONS.

1. Solution can be implemented quickly enough to

be effective
2.Business can afford to implement the solution you
are considering
3. Not enough human resources
LEGISLATIVE AND ORGANISATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS
Fair Work Legislation
The Fair Work Act 2009 (FW Act) and the Fair Work Regulations 2009 are the main
legislation we deal with. They govern the employee / employer relationship in Australia.
They provide a safety net of minimum entitlements, enable flexible working
arrangements and fairness at work and prevent discrimination against employees.
Competition and Consumer Act 2010
The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 covers most areas of the market: the
relationships between suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers. Its purpose is to
enhance the welfare of Australians by promoting fair trading and competition, and
through the provision of consumer protections
Import Legislations
Businesses in Australia are able to import goods from overseas aspart of their activities.
CALCULATE RESOURCES

Options include establishing a second manufacturing facility

(estimated cost $5 million), outsourcing manufacturing to a third party
(lost margin of $200 per unit sold or $2 million per year assuming 10
000 units are sold), developing a cloud based solution where customers
can access the software remotely on their own devices (estimated cost
of $2 million), purchasing off the shelf tablets (lost margin of $300 per
unit sold or $3 million per year) or repurposing used tablets ($100 per
unit sold or $1 million).
