The story is talking about the narrator, who will be going to visit
the house of his childhood’s friend called Roderick. And he men-
tioned that the Roderick’s family was old, but never got prosper- ous. This house was rotting, and it looked very gloomy. The Rod- erick wrote letters to the narrator for getting some help because once he stepped into this yard, he felt uncomfortable from his emotions and physics. Roderick seemed more weaker than before when the narrator saw him, and he was acting strangely. He had a twin sister named Madeline, who was also very ill. She was suffering a mysterious illness - possibly called stupor. And this is unstoppable. The narra- tor was trying to inspirit Roderick, he played guitar, or created the rhythm. And at last, the Roderick got the result, which was the house it self was not “healthy”. The story got scarier when Madeline suddenly died, and they put her in a tomb in the house. As the time passed, the narrator real- ized that Roderick that Madeline were twins. One day night, the narrator started hearing weird noises, and some white gases that surrounded the house, the author told Roderick that this was only a natural phenomenon. So they started to read books for killing time grooves. A book called Mad Trist, had perfect plots, and they heard noises that same as the description in the book. At first they just predict that it came from their imaginations, but it became clear and clear, so loud that they can’t ignored. They found out Madeline was actu- ally alive when they buried her. She appeared when the door opened by the wind. And she attacked Roderick, finally, Roderick was died because of the fear. The narrator ran away from the house, and as he looked behind, he saw the house break apart and sank into the ground.
