Dear Mr. Satu:

With compliments, the Inter-Ministerial Council of the Road Safety Steeling Committee has
mandated the Road Safety Secretariat to develop a proposal for the pavement/striping of Monrovia
Streets and its environs. The cost for the project proposal for the 65.95km of roads and 406 crosswalks is
US$222,508.00 (Two Hundred Twenty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred Eight United States Dollars).
Due to the poor visibility at night within the project areas. The general road users are not able to easily
access these corridors because the markers on the roads are not visible and reflective. However, these
conditions have increased death, injuries and property damage within the proposed project localities.

The implementation of the proposal will mitigate the high increase in death, injuries and property
damages within the project area.
