composite core, 0.05 parts per million (ppm) of formaldehyde.

• For medium-density fiberboard, 0.11 ppm of formaldehyde.

• For thin medium-density fiberboard, 0.13 ppm of formaldehyde.

• For particleboard, 0.09 ppm of formaldehyde.

Petco’s test methods requirement is a combination review by
of 16CFR1307, Prop 65, Reach Annex XVII, Danish USA & China
phthalates. The lab suggest not to mention each of QA Team and
specific standards, just state client’s requirement. Vincent Zhu
Limits have changed to reflect the lower 0.05% (SGS Lab)
Danish limit on 4 specific phthalates. Added the
calculation of the sums of DBP, BBP, DEHP and DNOP,
DINP, DIDP per EU requirements. (This is a calculation
only, no further testing required.) EU does not align
on accessible materials only, so lab will follow Petco
rule until alignment is clear.
