Graduates of B.S. Criminology program should be able to:

1. Demonstrate the needed skills and knowledge in the practice of Criminology and its allied fields;
2. Undertake research on crime prevention; law enforcement; criminal justice administration; juvenile justice administration; crime detection
and investigation; application of forensic sciences to law enforcement and crime detection; psychology of crime and prevention; probation;
parole and correctional administration;
3. Exhibit understanding on the constitutional guarantees and the process requirements in so far as it affects the total administration of
justice;
4. Assume a higher concept of citizenry, leadership and understanding of one’s moral, ethical and legal responsibilities to their fellowmen,
community and country; and

Course Title : Special Crime Investigation With Legal Medicine
Course Code :CDI 2
 Course Description : This course covers the special study of modern technique in the investigation of crimes involving crimes against
persons, and other related offenses. The application of medical science in crime investigation with emphasis on the
medico-legal aspects of physical injuries, death, abortion, infanticide, burn and poisoning. Develop framework of
investigating crimes, crime scene processing, and report writing.

Pre-requisite : CDI1 (Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation with Intelligence)

Objectives : At the end of the course, the students should:

Cognitive Objective : Students in the "Special Crime Investigation with Legal Medicine" subject will be able to critically analyze and apply
the principles and methodologies of the CDI2 assessment to evaluate cognitive aspects in the context of special crime
investigations.
