Data Gathering Procedure

In terms of collecting data for this research, the researchers will begin by seeking permission
through the principal's office to conduct surveys with various digital nomads. A formal request letter will
be drafted and submitted to the principal's office to obtain necessary permissions before starting the
study.

To ensure a thorough and inclusive approach, the researchers will use both online Google Forms
and traditional hard copy questionnaires as survey tools. This choice aims to accommodate the diverse
preferences and accessibility of the digital nomads. After obtaining consent from the digital nomads, the
researchers plan to distribute a total of 30 survey forms, maintaining an equal distribution between hard
copy and online submissions. These forms will be evenly given to the consenting digital nomads.

For hard copy questionnaires, the researchers will wait patiently for the completion of the forms
by the digital nomads before collecting the physical data. For the online Google Forms, the researchers
will wait until the predetermined number of responses is achieved, ensuring that the number of
respondents will be achieved. This type of approach to data collection not only emphasizes ethical
considerations through obtaining proper permissions but also ensures a well-rounded and inclusive
representation of digital nomad’s perspectives and experiences in the study.

Statistical analysis of the data

The researchers will employ frequency and mean analyses to examine the socio-demographic
profile, including age, gender, and occupation, of the digital nomads. Through this approach, the
researchers aim to confirm the distribution of respondents across these variables. For instance, they will
determine the number of male and female respondents and compute the percentage of each gender
within the pool of 30 respondents.

To delve into the impact of being a digital nomad on work-life balance and identity formation,
the researchers will design questions that can be quantitatively answered. These questions will be
structured to numerical responses, allowing for a numerical range that measures the participants'
insights into how their lifestyle influences these aspects of their lives.

In order to summarize and present the data effectively, the researchers will utilize descriptive
analysis. This method will help summarize the findings, providing a clear overview of the implications of
digital nomadism on an individual's work-life balance and identity formation.
