UNDERTAKING FROM PARENTS

Application for permission to stay on


campus between January 8th January,
2022 and February 15th 2022.

I am aware that as per Circular No.2 dated 8th January, 2022, the University issued the
guidelines effective from 8th January, 2022 upto 15th February, 2022 as below:
(i) Class-room teaching-learning shall be conducted in an online mode between January 8th
and February 15th 2022;
(ii) Practicals of UG/ PG degree/ diploma shall be conducted in laboratories/ studios by
following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour;
(iii) Ph.D. students shall be permitted to undertake their research in the respective constituent
institutes by following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour;
(iv) Examinations scheduled between 8th January, 2022 and 15th February, 2022 shall be
conducted in an online mode.
(v) International students/ Ph.D. students and students of the UG/ PG degree/ diploma
programmes wherein a practical component is involved will be permitted to stay in the hostel.
Campus Administrators shall be extraordinarily vigilant in maintaining the COVID-19
appropriate behaviour;
(vi) Students who do not come under the above guideline (v), shall be informed to vacate the
hostel by giving sufficient time to book their travel itinerary;
(vii) Students who are unable to travel due to unavoidable circumstances will be allowed
to stay in the hostel after having submitted a written application from their parents/
guardians along with an undertaking specified by the university;

Due to unavoidable circumstances my son/ daughter/ ward ………………………………..


studying at ………………………….(name of constituent) is unable to travel back to our
hometown, hence I request the university authorities to allow him/ her to stay in the hostel till
the situation is normalize;
1] My son/ daughter/ ward and I are fully aware of all guidelines issued from time to time by
UGC/ Central Government/ State Government/ Local Authorities and University Guidelines
for taking precautions in the present situation of this Covid-19 pandemic;
2] In case my son/ daughter/ ward is found to be ill with the covid virus, we will not hold the
University/ Constituent responsible for the same.
