indicated that the integration is “Not currently available” for your contract.
 Check if you have LinkedIn Recruiter Licenses.
 Check if you have already logged in using LinkedIn Recruiter license (user name and password).

18. Is LinkedIn RSC used to post jobs to LinkedIn?

Contact your LinkedIn representative or Customer Success Manager directly to get guidance and to
understand the difference between LinkedIn Jobs and LinkedIn RSC.

19. On LinkedIn, I don’t see any job or a particular job when doing a one-click export?
 Check if full sync was completed in the Setup and Maintenance work area.
 Check if the LI recruiter was mapped to ORC recruiter within RSC configuration.
 Check if the ORC recruiter is in the hiring team (Hiring Manager or Collaborator or Recruiter) of
that particular job requisition.

20. When does a requisition from Oracle Recruiting show on LinkedIn?

A requisition shows up publicly on LinkedIn based on:
 The Send Job Requisitions as Private setting is turned Off and
 Requisitions in phase Open and state Posted.
However, the LinkedIn Recruiter will be able to see the job requisitions that are not posted.

21. What job applications, application states, and candidates are synced to LinkedIn?
 Job Applications: All job applications for Standard or Pipeline requisitions are sent.
 Application Stages: For each job application, the application stages are sent in the Phase - State
format. For example: Screening - Phone Screen Completed.
 Candidates: All candidates of EMP, CWK, CANDIDATE, EX_EMP, and EX_CWK type are sent.

22. Are there specific rules to sync job requisitions to LinkedIn?

Confirm with your local LinkedIn representative what are the geography requirements for your country
so you can propely setup the job requisition geography structure in Recruiting.
 All Standard and Pipeline requisitions and in phase Open are sent. Linked requisitions and
requisitions that are not posted are excluded.

 All requisitions that are in phase Open and all states other than Not Posted are sent to LinkedIn.
Confidential requisitions are sent as closed only.
 Job requisition description must be at least 100 characters. LinkedIn may report error if less
than 100 characters.
 For a job requisition to be accepted by LinkedIn, a combination of City, State, Country are
needed. Based on how the TCA geographies are configured and where the job is posted, Oracle
Recruiting sends 1) Level2, Level1, Level0 (for example, City, State, Country) or 2) Level1, Level0
(for example, Kowloon, Hong Kong) or just 3) Level0 (for example, Hong Kong).

While requisitions are sent based on the below criteria, only the requisitions that are “Listed” will show
on public LinkedIn website.

Requisition Requisition Publicly available on LinkedIn? LinkedIn Requisition State

Phase State
Open Not Posted N/A N/A
Scheduled No Closed
Posted Yes (driven by Send Job Listed
Requisitions as Private setting)
No Closed (If it is a
confidential requisition)
Expired No Closed
Unposted No Closed
Filled No Closed
Cancelled No Closed

23. On LinkedIn, when doing a one-click export, I got this error “Although we successfully
exported the profile, there may have been an error in your ATS. Try re-exporting the
profile.”
This error occurred because the candidate does not exist in Oracle Recruiting Cloud. There are two
types of candidate export that happen from LinkedIn RSC to Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
 In ATS Candidates: These are LinkedIn candidates who are known to Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
They can be identified with the “In ATS” indicator option in the LI Recruiter Search. This export
type is available from 20A release.
 Out of ATS Candidates: These are LinkedIn candidates for whom Oracle Recruiting Cloud are
unaware. This export type is available from 20D release.

24. How can I test LinkedIn RSC on staging or testing environment?

LinkedIn does not have a staging or testing environment. All “testing” of RSC functionality happens in
LinkedIn production, which means – jobs synced as public will be discoverable on LinkedIn.com, all RSC
features enabled on a particular contract will be visible to all users on that contract. RSC is an “out of
the box” activation. If you want to “test” the RSC functionality, contact your LinkedIn CSM.

25. How do I de-activate RSC, once I've activated it?
