Term‌‌2‌‌Project:‌‌Nanoscience‌ ‌

Aim‌:‌‌Through‌‌this‌‌project,‌‌students‌‌aim‌‌to:‌ ‌
a. learn‌‌and‌‌summarise‌‌the‌‌developments‌‌in‌‌the‌‌field‌‌of‌‌nanoscience‌ ‌
b. examine‌‌and‌‌discuss‌‌the‌‌applications‌‌of‌‌nanotechnology‌‌(any‌‌two)‌ ‌
c. Investigate‌‌the‌‌future‌‌of‌‌nanotechnology‌‌(in‌‌any‌‌1‌‌field)‌ ‌

Maximum‌‌Marks:‌‌20‌ ‌
Project‌‌Guidelines‌:‌ ‌

General‌‌guidelines‌:‌‌ ‌
● Project‌‌work‌‌should‌‌be‌‌done‌‌and‌‌submitted‌‌in‌‌5‌‌weeks.‌ ‌
● It's‌‌a‌‌group‌‌project.‌‌Each‌‌group‌‌will‌‌have‌‌4‌‌students.‌‌ ‌
● Presentations‌‌can‌‌be‌‌e-mailed‌‌or‌‌submitted‌‌in‌‌a‌‌pen‌‌drive‌‌as‌‌convenient‌‌to‌‌the‌‌teacher.‌ ‌
● After‌‌the‌‌submission‌‌of‌‌the‌‌project‌‌in‌‌one‌‌of‌‌the‌‌periods,‌‌the‌‌teacher‌‌can‌‌ask‌‌any‌‌student‌‌
from‌‌each‌‌group‌‌to‌‌play‌‌the‌‌presentation‌‌in‌‌class‌‌and‌‌explain‌‌any‌‌one‌‌topic‌‌from‌‌the‌‌
presentation.‌‌ ‌

Research‌‌and‌‌presentation‌‌should‌‌include‌:‌ ‌

● What‌‌is‌‌nanoscience?‌ ‌
● What‌‌is‌‌nanotechnology?‌ ‌
● Example‌‌of‌‌nanoscience‌‌in‌‌nature‌ ‌
● Timeline‌‌of‌‌developments‌‌in‌‌the‌‌field‌‌of‌‌nanoscience‌ ‌
● Tools‌‌of‌‌nanotechnology‌ ‌
● Elaborate‌‌description‌‌of‌‌any‌‌two‌‌applications‌‌of‌‌nanoscience‌ ‌
● Future‌‌of‌‌nanotechnology‌‌in‌‌any‌‌1‌‌field‌ ‌

Points‌‌to‌‌be‌‌remembered‌‌by‌‌the‌‌students‌:‌ ‌
● Contribution‌‌of‌‌each‌‌student‌‌of‌‌the‌‌group‌‌to‌‌the‌‌presentation‌‌is‌‌important.‌‌After‌‌the‌‌
submission‌‌of‌‌the‌‌work,‌‌on‌‌an‌‌assigned‌‌date,‌‌one‌‌student‌‌from‌‌each‌‌group‌‌will‌‌have‌‌to‌‌
