access to the internet, while 9 (8.3%) of them belong to the participants that have no access to the
internet.
A good learning environment is essential for achieving learning outcomes. Navarro
(2022) revealed serious gaps in the country’s school infrastructure that impact student learning.
While progress has been made in decongesting schools, there is still spatial inequality in regional
classroom-student ratios. Moreover, access to information and communications technology is
still limited. While SHS students’ access rate to computers is 81.5 percent, only 67.3 percent
have internet access.
