Step 1:
Introduction and Starting
Dynamips (1) Skillset Labs>

In this lab you will learn how to control BGP prefixes


through the use of weight, local preference, and MED so you
can understand better on how to apply these in real world
scenarios.

Here are some useful tips on how to use this lab:

*As a CCNA candidate, it is advisable to use the full syntax of the


commands in this lab for familiarization and for the script to
verify if each of the tasks were executed correctly.

Clear BGP peerings on all devices if the desired results do not


appear in the command output.

Ensure all steps are followed in sequence and all commands for
each step are completely executed in the correct device. * *Some
steps have verification commands. You can only proceed to the
next step if the desired output appears after the command is
issued.

To start the lab, Start Dynamips on Console 1.

 ./start bgpweightlpmed
