Relationship between Logistics/Traffic
departments and Customs Agents

transportation, storage, borders by handling customs
and distribution of clearance procedures on
products. [6] behalf of importers and
exporters. [6]

Logistics and traffic departments are responsible for managing the movement of goods from the point of
origin to the destination. Customs agents facilitate the clearance of goods through customs processes at
borders or ports. Effective coordination between these departments ensures smooth movement of goods
across borders without delays. [6]

EXAMPLE

For example with the growth of cross-border e-

commerce, international e-commerce companies
must closely coordinate with Customs Agents to
facilitate the customs clearance of the products
they ship to customers worldwide. This includes
ensuring that packages comply with customs
requirements and paying the corresponding duties Image 4. Agriculture export in mexico [7]

and taxes. [7]

Companies specialized in international logistics and transportation, such as DHL, FedEx,
and UPS, work closely with Customs Agents to facilitate the customs clearance of the
goods they transport across borders. [7]

Relationship between logistics/traffic
departments and the purchasing
department
Logistics also involves stock management, which depends, in turn,
on purchasing management, whose department must obtain the
goods and services that the company requires and in a timely
manner to guarantee the necessary supply.Unlike purchasing
management, logistics is related to the distribution of products
and/or services. The way in which we manage said distribution
from its dispatch to its reception will depend on logistics
management. This includes the design and execution of
distribution strategies or the evaluation of consumer satisfaction.

PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS

-AYALA MONTAÑEZ JOSÉ EDUARDO

Logistics are primordial for the industries because they allow to measure
parameters like the production at warehouse allowing to implement upgrades to
the process
An example can be changing the paperwork from physical to digital helping to acced
to information way quicker and expediting the process
-LEMUS JIMÉNEZ AXEL URIEL
Traffic department in modern industries its a requierement for a proper function
since all big industries move their products between states or countries. To do this
you got to follow certain rules so this department got the task tomake sure all the
products get shipped correctly on time and following the regulations
An example of the importance of this department it easily shown in companies like
Ali Express or Temu since all of their products are shipped from China they gotta
deal whith the customs from every country they sell their products
PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS
-LÓPEZ CHÁVEZ RICARDO
The relation between the logistic, traffic and purchasing department its imperative since they
all work like a gear if one fails or underperform the others are gonna be affected to, to get
them all working right its essencial to have a lot of comunication and the way companies get
this done its by making constant mettings between departments getting to know the
difficulties their having and how can they help each other
-LÓPEZ HUERTA CRISTOBAL JASSEL
Having a logistics department making measurements at production helps not only to make
constant upgrades in the process but also to identify posible risks to try to avoid them or at
least minimize their damage and example of this was during the lockdown where companies
got to find a way to work even whit the sanitary emergency implementing new ways to work.
This also can be applied to de logistics department since they always gotta face problems like a
closed road or a boat or airplane being delayed due to climate conditions needing to find ways
to get the job done as quicker as possible to not affect other departments and to acomplish the
satisfaction of the costumer
PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS
-LÓPEZ SALGADO SHARON ABRIL
An efficient internal organization in the logistics and traffic departments, such as the
division into specialized teams, such as inventory management and coordination of
carriers in logistics, and programming of vehicles in traffic, improves operational
efficiency. For example, in a courier service company, this structure allows a clear
assignment of responsibilities and effective communication between the teams,
facilitating a timely and cost-effective delivery.

-MARTINEZ SANTOS ELISUA JÚDA

In conclusion, an effective internal organization in the logistics and traffic
departments, through the division into specialized teams, such as warehouse
management and coordination of routes in logistics, and fleet management in traffic,
optimizes the operation. For example, in a cargo transport company, this structure
guarantees an efficient distribution of resources and precise coordination, improving
profitability and customer satisfaction.
PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS
-PÉREZ SÁNCHEZ CARLOS ALBERTO
A clear and specialized organizational structure in the logistics and traffic departments
is essential for an efficient operation. For example, in a food distribution company, the
division into specific equipment allows more effective management of inventory,
routes and transport, which improves the overall efficiency of the company.

RODRÍGUEZ RODRÍGUEZ CARLOS SEBASTIAN

An organizational structure specialized in logistics and traffic departments, such as the
division into teams dedicated to material management, inventory control and supply
chain planning in logistics, and teams specialized in transport programming, route
management and coordination with suppliers in traffic, allows more efficient
production and a fluid distribution of products, optimizing times and reducing
operating costs in a manufacturing context.
TEAM CONCLUSION

In conclusion, this exhibition sheds light on the intricate internal organization of Logistics and
Traffic Departments, showcasing the vital role they play in ensuring seamless operations within
various industries. Through insightful displays and interactive presentations, visitors have
gained a deeper understanding of the complex processes and strategic planning involved in
optimizing efficiency, safety, and sustainability within these crucial departments. By
highlighting innovative solutions and best practices, this exhibition serves as a catalyst for
continued collaboration and improvement in the field of logistics and traffic management.
