to MHA order No. I-45020/270/2023-Pers.II dated 31/01/2024 and approval of the
Cerepol, the following DIsG (GD) are hereby promoted to the rank of Inspector General
(GD) in Level-14 of the Pay Matrix for the panel year 2024 with effect from 01/04/2024
or from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, whichever is later (.) On
promotion to the rank of Inspector General (GD), they are posted as per details mentioned

dated 20/03/2024 has conveyed approval of the competent authority for appointment of
Shri R Gopala Krishna Rao, IPS (TR:2005), DIG [IRLA-12858], O/O IG, Southern Sector
as Inspector General in CRPF from the date of assumption of charge of the post (.) Para
(.) As approved by the competent authority, the officer is posted on promotion to the rank
