Culture Club in class 6 on
August 2nd, 2006. There are

Open letter from the Board Of Directors
The English World of Sunmoon newspaper would like to take this
opportunity to publicly apologise to Doris Funkenbausch (also
known as Niamh Cooney) for the deeply hurtful untruths printed in
the edition of Friday July 28th. After receiving a heartfelt letter
from Ms. Funkenbausch/Cooney which, quite frankly, brought the
whole editorial team to tears, EWS has come to the conclusion that
she is a deeply troubled woman and needs all the help she can get.
To this end the EWS has set up the Funkenbausch/Cooney Relief
Fund, which aims to raise money so that we can send her as far away
from us as humanly possible.
This retraction and apology is in no way a reaction to her threat to
strangle one of her students if her demands aren’t met, and we urge
Ms. Funkenbausch/Cooney to release him as soon as possible.

I interviewed class 2 English native teacher, Jeffrey.
I asked Jeffrey, “How about this camp?” Jeffrey
said to me, “I think this camp was very successful. I
have many new ideas about teaching.” I asked class 2
Korean teacher, Mr. Chang about this camp. Teacher
said to me, “I think students have a good chance to
speak English. It was successful for everyone. They
could learn about many things through English from
English native speakers. I had a good time in this
camp.” I asked all class 2 students about this camp.
One student said to me, “I was very excited. However,
the disadvantage of this camp was bathroom.” Other
student said to me, “I enjoyed this camp. I made
friends here. Learning English through game was
good and fun.” Many classmates said to me, “We can
enjoy English, be proud of our English skills and
practice through speaking English.”
Hi, I’m Britney. I had fun with this club. I just wrote
about weather and movie but I did my best. I’m
proud and happy about this. When I can choose the
club again, I will choose this club. It’s last
