Review Activities for the Math exam.

Dear students please try to solve the following problems, using the notes you wrote
down and try to use efficiently your calculator (GDC).

***Master the operations with functions throughout the correct solution of the
exam.
***Calculates perimeter, area, and volume of composite figures through the
manipulation of composite figure.

Calculate the volume and surface area for the following figure.
***Uses the Student´s T-test to solve problems applying the method in
several context.
Solve the following problem applying the T-Test and determine either accept or
reject the null hypothesis.

We have two groups of students. One group is working a new study method and
the other is applying the traditional method. The principal wants to know what
method is more efficient for the student’s learning. The principal collected the next
information:
Group A: {15, 12, 11, 18, 15, 15, 9, 19, 14, 13, 11, 12, 18, 15, 16, 14, 16, 17, 15,
17, 13, 14, 13, 15, 17, 19, 17, 18, 16, 14} y

Group B: {11, 16, 14, 18, 6, 8, 9, 14, 12, 12, 10, 15, 12, 9, 13, 16, 17, 12, 8, 7,
15, 5, 14, 13, 13, 12, 11, 13, 11, 7}.

If the principal assumes a significant level of 5%, please determine what method
is better for the students.
