Ma’am,

I am writing to formally convey our regrets for being unable to participate in the upcoming BNEO
training session scheduled on March 11-13, 2024 which is aimed at empowering newly elected
barangay officials through essential training and workshops.

Our inability to attend this crucial training for primary reason:

1. No budget: Currently, our barangay faces significant financial constraints. The budgetary
allocation for capacity building and training has been fully utilized for the pressing needs and
initiatives with in our community. As a result, we find ourselves in a challenging position,
unable to allocate funds for the participation fee, transportation, and other incidental expenses
related to attending the BNEO Training.

We will provide you with some information below for the delegates of the upcoming BNEO Seminar;

1. Hon. Engr. Arturo I. Davis, PME – Punong Barangay

2. Hon. Violeta S. Giangan – Barangay Kagawad
3. Hon. Angelmarie M. Dapar – SK Chairperson
4. Sheila Mae V. Tasic – Barangay Treasurer

We understand the importance of such seminars in enhancing our skills and knowledge particularly in
public service, and we deeply regret missing out in this opportunity to learn and grow.

We would like to appeal to your good office to consider offering seminars like these for free, especially
for low-income earning barangays like ours. We believe this would greatly help us in improving our
public service and would provide us with an opportunity to learn more from experienced professionals.
We assure you that given the opportunity, we will make the most of these learning platforms and
apply the knowledge gained for betterment of our barangay.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused due to the absence of other elected officials
and we appreciate your understanding in this matter. We look forward for your positive response and
the opportunity to participate in future seminars.
