I. Introduction

National Bible Month is observed in the Philippines every January, as mandated by

Republic Act No. 11163. This law recognizes the significance of the Bible in shaping the
nation's history, culture, and values. During National Bible Month, various activities and
programs are organized to promote the reading, study, and understanding of the Bible
among Filipinos of all ages and backgrounds. It serves as a time for reflection, spiritual
growth, and unity among believers, highlighting the importance of the Bible in the lives of
individuals and communities across the country.

II. Programs, Projects, and Activities Conducted

Bible Reading Sessions

1. Increase public awareness about the

Bible Reading Sessions: Organize reading sessions
where students can read and reflect on selected
passages from the Bible. This can be done during
designated class hours or through extracurricular
activities.

Essay and Art Contests: Conduct essay and art

contests that encourage students to express their
thoughts and reflections on the teachings of the Bible.
This can be an excellent way to promote creativity and
critical thinking.

Project Dasal: Arrange prayer services or moments of

reflection where students, faculty, and staff can come
together to pray for guidance, wisdom, and unity.

Ensure that activities and programs during National
Impact Bible Month are inclusive of people from diverse
religious backgrounds and beliefs. This can be
achieved by incorporating elements that promote
interfaith dialogue, understanding, and respect.
Identify practical ways to apply biblical principles,
Ways Forward teachings, and values to your daily life, relationships,
decisions, and actions. Look for opportunities to live
out your faith and values authentically.
