PROBLEM STATEMENT
The study was based on the performance of Maybank Kemaman;

1. Financial Sector such as bank plays an important role to the country’s economy.

2. It is important to maintain a good job performance in order to maintain a good flow of economy’s income and stability.

3. The researchers identified Maybank Kemaman faced problem in terms of job performance. They’re facing inconsistent performance (based on Sales Performance Dashboard (SPD)- SPD on Maybank Kemaman is decreasing

4. The branch's performance from January 2023 to June 2023 is depicted in Figure above. As per the findings of the study carried out at the Maybank Kemaman Branch, which began in January 2023, the branch performed admirably,
coming in second place out of 31 branches. However, there was an abrupt decline to the 17th position out of 31 branches in February. Fortunately, Maybank Kemaman Branch's performance improved in March, as evidenced by its
rise to the sixth spot. Nevertheless, the performance was observed to be declining for three months in a row, from April to June, until it was rated 22

5. The real cost of not managing inconsistent performance can have a damaging, ripple effect across the entire business.

6. Therefore, this research choose Maybank Kemaman as study research to uncover the complex dynamics at play in order to understand how employee performance affects organizational performance overall. The main goal of the
study is to investigate the reciprocal relationship between motivation, leadership style, and organizational climate on job performance

OBJECTIVES
1. To examine the relationship between motivation and job performance among staff
at Maybank Kemaman.
2. To determine the relationship between leadership approach and job performance
among staff at Maybank Kemaman.
3. To identify the relationship between organizational climate and job performance
among staff at Maybank Kemaman.
