SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to;

meaningful quote related to the novel.
Concept:

The making of "Noli Me Tangere" refers to the process of how Jose Rizal wrote the novel. It
involves his creative inspiration, research into the social and political issues of his time, drafting
and revising the manuscript, and finally publishing the book. Rizal drew from his experiences and
observations of Spanish colonial society in the Philippines to craft a narrative that critiques the
injustices and abuses perpetrated by the ruling class. The novel was published in 1887 and became
a seminal work in Philippine literature, discussions about national identity, colonialism, and social
reform.

A. Before the Lesson

called “SABAT”
Teacher will group the student into 2. Team 1
and Team 2. The student will share their
knowledge about Noli Me Tangere. One member
from the group will show what he/she got then
the member from opposite team will share
his/her knowledge also and then continue. The 5
best answers will get a token of appreciation to
their knowledge about the novel of the National
Hero Dr. Jose Rizal.

Presentation of the Topic

Before the teacher start, the teacher will present

The teacher will discuss will discuss about The


Making of Noli Me Tangere includes;
-The Truths of Noli Me Tangere from 1884-1961

- The title, Noli Me Tangere was a Latin phrase


which means touch me not and it was taken from
the Gospel of John, chapter 20 verses 13 to 17.

activity called “PICTURE ANALYSIS WITH A

understanding how do you interpret the cover of

Generalization
The teacher will summarize the whole topic as a
sort of reviewing assuring the students have
learned from the discussion. By discussing that,
The novel written by Dr. José Rizal, "Noli Me
Tangere" is important parts of Philippine literature
and history. It tells us stories set in the late 1800s
when the Philippines was under Spanish rule. Rizal's
book are not just romantic tales but also messages
about waking up to the realities of society and the
need for change. (Active Listening)

In "Noli Me Tangere," the Latin phrase "noli me


tángere," which means "touch me not," is used to
show resistance against oppression. Rizal wanted
to encourage Filipinos to stand up for themselves
and their dignity.

This novel paint a picture of what life was like


during Spanish rule and highlight the struggles
Filipinos faced. They remind us of the
importance of fighting for our identity and
freedom.

Even though this novel is fictional, it based on


real events and help us understand our past
better. It inspires us to work towards a fairer
society and a stronger nation.

in the dissemination of knowledge regarding historical occurrences such as the Making of
Noli Me Tangere. Multimedia resources and online platforms can improve student learning
by giving them access to a variety of viewpoints and by using digital technologies to
facilitate discussions. Moreover, ICT workers who interact with a globally connected
world and foster cultural awareness and ethical considerations in their job should
