Thank you for choosing our high-speed lining machine.In order to make

sure the safety and properly use of this machine,please read this operation

manual carefully before putting the machine into operation.The complete

operation manual shoud always be kept in properly in order to be checked

if necessary.

This operation manual introduces the information of safety

attentions,operation,technical parameters,maintenance and

troubleshooting of high-speed lining machine.It’s provide the relevant

technical guidance to acquaint yourself with operation,maintenance and

simple troubleshooting during using the machine.

Base on the principle of do better and better and improve the product

quality unceasingly,we reserve the right to improve the products which is

descripted in the operation manual at any time in order to provide the

1.SAFETY
This machine shall only be carried out by specially trained person.The other
persons are forbidden to operate this machine.Please read the following safety
tips and attentions carefully before installation and usage:

1.1 General Information

Before contacting or operating this machine,all personnels shall read this


operation manual carefully and pay attention to the following safety tips:

● Non-professional or un-trained persons are not allowed to operate this machine.

● Operator must strictly obey the operation procedure listed in the operation
manual to make sure the personal safety and to prevent the accident.

● A person who is drinking or his spirits is drooping shall not be allowed to


operate the machine.

● A person who wears loose-fitting clothes or long jewelry shall not be allowed
to operate the machine .A person with long hair must coil her hair in the hat in
order to prevent the accident.

● Before and after using this machine,you shall according to the specification to
maintain and repair the machine regularly.

1.2 Safety Regulation of this Machine

● From the point view of safety,we shall pay special attention to design and
manufacture of machine.But it is impossible to eliminate all of the possible
dangers or anticipate possible injuries and misuses.So,all of the operators and the
other related persons must acquaint themselves with early warning and take great
care of operation.

● Swich must be operated by specific person.Switch which can give rise to


security issue must be equipped with a key.Company shall designate an
administrator to manage the keys in order to avoid that the other unspecified
person will not use these keys.
● Prohibit to lead the power line in the midway.Prohibit to clamp down,heat and
drag the power line.

● Prohibit to peel or damage any label.Prohibit to use the other objects to shade
the lable that it can’t be seen.

● If a lable is inexplicit or fall off,you must change it to a new lable


immediately.If a place or parts will give rise to danger but not paste up the
lable which is an extremely dangerous thing.

● Prohibit to operate the machine by wet hand in order to avoid the electric
shock.

● Prohibit to place the object above the machine in order to avoid that this object
will falling down and then damage the machine and injure the
person.Especially the object which contains the liquid will give rise to the risk
of electric leakage.

● When cleaning,disassembling or repairing the machine,you must cut off the


electricity supply first to avoid giving rise to the risk of electric shock.

● Prohibit to use the water to flush the machine to avoid giving rise to the risk of
electric shock.

● Before starting up the machine,you shall check whether the machine is in


perfect working condition and confirm that there are no foreign objects existed
in the running area.

● If some protective doors are removed or damaged or opened,it’s prohibit to


operate the machine.

● During maintenance,you shall place the maintenance plate in properly.

● Bofore operating the machine,you shall pay much attention and inform the
other persons that the machine will be started soon.

3. FUNCTION OF LINING MACHINE
Rotary high-speed lining machine is suitable to use in the end which is made from
water-based compound or solvent based.The quantities of gun which is equipped on the
machine can varied from 3 to 8 . Production capacity is 300~2000pcs/min which is
suitable to use in the aluminium cover or iron cover.The above end type is 113-603D
and suitable to use in the sealing rubber which solid contents is larger than 55%.
Simple operation can be found in the following several matters:
1. You can adjust the spray adhesive time per gun on the Human-Machine
Interface respectively;
2. You can adjust the gun position on the horizontal and vertical direction
freely;
3. When the machine is running,if there are no end on the upper and lower
chuck,it’s will not contact with each other directly.So it’s will reduce the
noise of machine.
4. The speed of chuck and system can carry out the variable frequency drive
independently and it can be adjusted directly on the Human-Machine
Interface.

Safety setting device of machine


1. Safety door switch:Once a door is opened,the machine can’t be started.
Warning:when dismantling the safety door,you shall pay attention to
the concealed wiring connection of safety switch.You can’t pull the wiring.
2. Air pressure switch:If the air pressure is lower than 50PSI,the system
will be turned off.
3. Downstacker is blocked up:If the downstacker is shaked slightly due to
the block up of chuck cover,the machine will stop running automatically.
4. Reversed side of cover:If the reversed side of cover appears in the
downstacker cage,it will stop the machine automatically.
5. Inductive electron gun:If the cover is not reached to the lower chuck,the
compound will not be injected automatically.

Solenoid valve of machine

Control device of compound position


1. When the compound position is lower than the low compound
position,the control device of seal position will be opened and begin to
fill the seal.
2. When the compound position is reach to the middle compound
position,the filling process will be stopped.
3. High compound position is used on the condition that the middle
compound position is failure.
Infeed screws to starwheel timing(For details,see the figure)

After finishing the synchronization adjustment of infeed screws,ends will


cover the starwheel automatically and fill the compound.The end will not be
blocked up or scratched.The synchronization adjustment steps are as follows:

1. Make sure that the machine is stopped completely and then turn the
operation switch to the “OFF”,remove the key;
2. Rotate the turrent until its reach to the 1/2-5/8 edge of starwheel(Can be
seen from the downstacker port);
3. Loose the tension pulley of downstacker and then remove the belt;
4. Rotate the infeed screws until the end will be dropped;
5. Re-install the belt and tighten the tension pulley.
3.OPERATING GUIDANCE OF LINING MACHINE
3.1 Lifting Instruction of Lining Machine

Lifting and handling instructions of lining machine are listed as
follows(Refer to the schematic diagram):
1. Fore T-type eye rings are installed on the corresponding threaded holes
on upper end face of hanger lever;
2. According to the schematic diagram,use the steel wire to connect the
four T-type eye rings in properly(Left front-Right front,Left rear-Right
rear);
3. After checking all of the preparation work,use lifting and handing
device to convey it to the proper position.During the conveying,you
shall make sure that the steel wire must not touch to the turret;
4. After conveying it to the proper position,you shall dismantle the steel
wire,eye ring and hanger lever.The left and right row of bench are
tighten by 1/2-13-1 1/2 screw.After checking that everything is all
right,now the lifting and handling working is finished.
3.2 Operation Notice of Lining Machine
Notice:
■ Only the trained person can be allowed to operate the
machine
■ Before operating,please read this operation notice carefully
■ Cabinet and machine must be firmly grounded

3.2.1 Operating Principle of Machine


The whole machine consists of operation control console,turret,lower
chuck,driving device and supported platform,etc.Six guns are equally
distributed on the circumference of turret.Gun is opened and closed by swiftach
which is driven by winding.There are six lower chucks and be situated at the
lower side of the corresponding six guns respectively.Open the end block knife
which is equipped on the end feeding passage,when the end is entered into the
lower chuck position through infeed screws and starwheel,now lower chuck is
rising and then jacking up the end and clamping the end together with the upper
pressure head of gun.If the ends are positioned as desired,the sensor on the gun
will detect it and transfer the signal to the winding,then the compound on the
adhesive tank(fixed above the turret)will be injected to the rotation end by the
gun.
The rotation of turret and lower chuck are driven by two transducers.The
speed can be adjusted through operation screen.There are three gear
speeds.Winding of gun,sensor and control signal wire of manual butten switch
are positioned in the inner chamber of turret.The inner chamber is equipped
with remote I/O point of PLC.The protocol of this PLC and the PLC which is
equipped on the operation console is PROFIBUS---DP.Due to the rotation,so
the connection point of communication line and power line use the slip ring butt
joint method.
Rotary encoder is equipped on the faceplate driving shaft which is used in the
angle tracking and speed measurement.
Inductive transducer which can give fast response is installed on the driving
shaft of lower chuck.Inductive transducer is used in the high speed counting to
measure its speed.
3.2.2 Instruction of Operation Panel

(1) Human-Machine Interface (HMI)


This screen is used to display the information,prompting message and
function/data input.Screen has the touch function.Each page possess the
corresponding function button or numeric key.See the following figure for more
information.
In the right side of screen,there are a row of menu key.Press the
“MENU”key,it will pop-up five button keys.You can toggle these keys
according to their function.See the following figure for more information.

Notice:
■ If this touch screen not receive the trigger signal for a long
time,the background light will be turned off automatically to
protect the background light and extend its service life.Click
any position in the screen to activate the background
light.It’s recommend you to click the top side of screen or
click the “MENU” key to avoid the misoperation.Because
there are some function keys at the bottom of screen.
■ During the operation,please press the buttons slightly.Do not
use too much force to touch the buttons in order to avoid
damaging the screen!
■ When turning on the power,screen requires some time to
finish the self-checking.So please wait until its finish the
self-checking and then carry on the operation!
(2).Control power switch (CNTR.PWR.)
This switch is used to turn on and turn off the control power.When you turn
the switch to the “ON”position,the control power will begin to work and PLC
which is equipped on the cabinet is electrified.The programs which are stored
on the PLC are come into effect.If you want to turn off the control power,you
shall turn this switch to the “OFF”position.
(3).Running mode change-over switch(JOG/SAFE/RUN)
There are three modes in this machine .When the switch is turned to
“JOG”position,press the start button,the machine will be run in the low speed
(You must press this button and hold it,once you release this button,the machine
will stop running).When the switch is turned to “SAFE” position,the machine
can’t be run.When the switch is turned to “RUN” position ,press the start
button,the machine will be turned on (If there are no fault)).Please refer to the
screen tips to operate the machine ,because only all of the requirements are
met,the machine can be turned on normally!
(4).End infeed switch (INFEED ON/OFF)
This switch is used to control the end infeed during the normal
operation.When the switch is turned to “ON”position,it’s allow to infeed the
end.(Please refer to the screen tips to operate the machine,because only all of
the requirements are met,the end can be carried out the infeed motion!)When
the switch is turned to “OFF” position,the end infeed motion is stopped and
production is stopped.
(5).Start button (START)
This button is used to start the motor in order to drive the machine to
run.Under the “JOG” and “RUN” modes,this button is in effect.But under the
“SAFE”mode,this button is of no effect.
(6).Stop button (STOP)
This button is used to stop the motor in order to stop the running of
machine.Whenever you press this button,the machine will always be stopped.
(7).Reset button (RESET)
This button is used to reset the faults.Some faults have the self-lock
function.
So even though you remove the fault,it will still give an alarm.Now you can use
this button to reset.
Notice:
In the event of a failure,the built-in indicator light for reset button is
on!
(8).Emergency stop button (E-STOP)
In any case,if you press the emergency stop button,the machine will be
stopped immediately and the brake mechanism is started which will stop the
rotation of main shaft.After pressing,if you want to reset it,please pull this
button upwards and then rotate it in a clockwise direction.
Notice:
After pressing the emergency button,the built-in indicator light for
button is on!
3.2.3 Step of Normally Starting up
1. Turn on the main power;
2. Check the inlet pressure;
3. Check to see whether the oil level is normal;
4. Turn the control power switch “CNTR.PWR.”to the “ON”position;
5. Check to see whether the compound discharge from the nozzle is
normal(In carrying out this operation,please turn the mode switch to
“SAFE”position.,and press the “Manual/Gule discharge”function key
on the touch screen);
6. Turn the mode switch to the “RUN”position;
7. Press the “AUTO”function key on the touch screen.);
8. Enter the speed you required;
9. According to the screen tips to carry out the operation.If have any
fault,you shall press the reset button after removing the fault;
10.A tip appears on the screen to indicate that it’s allow you to start up the
machine,now you can press the start button;
11.When the speed is reached to the required production speed,a tip
appears on the screen will prompt you to open the end infeed switch.Now
open the end infeed switch to begin the production;
12.During the production,turn the end infeed switch “INFEED ON/OFF”
to the “OFF”position,and then press “STOP”button,the machine will be
stopped.
3.2.4 Function Key on the Human Machine Interface (HMI)

1. Screen 1

Human Machine Interface has two languages used.One is Chinese,and the


other is English.The default language is Chinese.After self-checking,the Human
Machine Interface will enter into the screen 1,such as the one illustrated
above.The “hand” in the picture is point to two function keys which are the
language selection keys.Now you can according to your requirement to choose
the corresponding language.
At the bottom of Human Machine Interface,there are a row of function
keys(7 keys).We’ll describe their function as belows:

(1)Compound position control


This key is used to control the main valve of compound passage.You must
turn on the compound position control,or else the screen will display the prompt
message.So before putting into production,you must turn on it.In this
way,compound in the compound tank which is installed on the turret will be
controlled by three probes and level controller which are equipped on the
compound tank.Opening method:Press “CMPD STOP” key about one
second,then the compound control will be opened.Now this key will be in a
flash condition.
If you want to turn off the compound position control (Such as during the
maintenance,you have to turn off the main valve of compound passage).Now
you shall press “CMPD STOP”key about one second,then the compound
control will be closed.Now this key will not flash.
(2)Time set
This key is used to set the time of compound injection.Press this key,the
screen will turn to the time setting screen.As for detailed information,please see
“Screen 4”.
(3)Lifting set
This key is used to set the lifting level.Press this key,the screen will turn to
the lifting set screen.This function is the optional function and not all of the
machines have this function.As for detailed information,please see “Screen 5”.
(4)Message display
This key is used to view and display the running information of
machine.Press this key,the screen will turn to the message display screen.As for
detailed information,please see “Screen 9”.
(5)Auto
This key is used to switch the automatic control program of machine.Press
this key,the screen will turn to the automatic operation screen.As for detailed
information,please see “Screen 3”.
(6)Manual
This key is used to switch the manual control program of machine.Press this
key,the screen will turn to the manual operation screen.As for detailed
information,please see “Screen 8”.
(7)Compound bleed
This key is used to switch the compound bleed control program of
machine.Press this key,the screen will turn to the compound bleed operation
screen.As for detailed information,please see “Screen 8”.
2. Screen 2

Screen 2 is the base screen of the other screens.You can edit these 6
function keys which are listed at the bottom of this screen in here.The specific
information of these function keys,please see “Screen 1”.

3. Screen 3

Screen 3 is an automatic operation screen.When you press “AUTO”key,it


will turn to this screen (If there are no fault).The top side of screen displays the
production speed and chuck speed.You also can enter the machine speed on this
Screen.When you press the numeric key of speed,a pop-up numeric soft
keyboard will appear on the screen.The current condition of machine will be
displayed on the current message display frame.You can according to this
information to carry on the operation.The specific information of function keys
which are lised at the bottom of this screen,please see “Screen 1”.
4. Screen 4

This screen is used to set the time parameter of compound injection.Six datas
on the screen represent the working time value of six gun winding
respectively.The unit is millisecond.Press “+”key one time,the working time
value of the corresponding gun will be increased.Use “-“key to decrease the
time value.There are an upper or lower limit of this working time value.So if
you increase/decrease the value to the limit value,even though you press the
“+”/ “-“key,the time value will not be changed any more.
5. Screen 5

This screen is the picture of the alarm history. It will show the previous
information.

Screen 6
This screen is used to display the Manual/Compound injection information.If
you need to carry out the manual or compound injection operation,it will turn to
this screen.A safety notice will be displayed on the top side of display box
which means only when the machine is completely stop running,and then you
can carry out the manual or compound injection operation!Under this operation
mode,production speed and chuck speed must display 0000.The angle position
of this machine will also be displayed on the page.The square box and circle
which are listed on the side right of screen represent the manual button of six
guns and indicator lights of winding respectively.If you press the manual
button,the corresponding indicator light is on.Under the manual operation
mode,if you press the manual button,it will produce a rising edge trigger
signal,then the winding will according to the normal compound injection time
to running.Under the compound injection mode,if you press the manual
button,the maximum time of winding running is 3 seconds and then the winding
will be stopped about 15 seconds.The information of the function keys which
are listed at the buttom of this screen,please see “Screen 1”.

3.2.5General Fault and Troubleshooting

4.ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND CARES
