Objectives
 To develop cultural preservation
Our first objective is to develop our Cultural Preservation. Cultural
preservation is vital in maintaining our human identities. Individual
perspectives like the indigenous, are worth preserving because, if we learn
from them, they can aid us to solve our problems. By putting ourselves in
someone else's mindset, we learn how to empathize and look at problems in
new ways.
 To promote cultural sovereignty
Our second objective is to promote cultural sovereignty. We want to
promote Cultural Sovereignty because we do believe, Without sovereignty,
the indigenous population would merely be a cultural group with no further
status or protection. Indigenous or Cultural individuals have the freedom to
speak their heritage language without apology and practice their beliefs,
values, and customs with pride and legitimacy.
 To support local
Our third objective is to support Local. This objective wants to speak
out that, we need to start supporting locals. Because supporting locals means
that we care, we care about the community that we live in.

Importance of Indigenous Products

Indigenous products signifies the cultural importance of a distinct place
or situation and confers awareness about the situation.

Relevant Issues In Reference to STS

Indigenous groups thriving in the country, also face challenges like for
example displacement, So we do believe that one of the relevant issues about
STS and indigenous individuals is that indigenous products are left behind.
One of the reasons is because of;

 Demand of the Society

Because of societal demands, indigenous items have undergone some
alterations over time. Consumer demand is a key factor in the economy. At
some point, we realized how wise and courageous people are in today's
society in deciding what they want and how to spend their money.

 Advancement of the Society

When in it comes to the advancement of Society, People choose what
is convenient for them. They prefer products that they’re comfortable with and
efficient to use. So because of that indigenous products are not well known
and are left behind.

 Fulfillment of the Society

And because of STS, more new products are being developed that can
better meet the needs of society. And at some point, this lacks something for
Indigenous people. Because of this, they are being forgotten to be
recognized.

Philippines is fortunate to have so many tribes that are capable of making and
producing this form of art. Therefore, we agree in the reark “tangkilikin and
