ANG BATANG MARUNONG BUMASA AY MALAYA

"Ang batang marunong bumasa ay malaya" is a beautiful saying that also has a beautiful
message for us about how powerful literacy is. This saying tells us that the ability of a person or
child to read will open the door to freedom and give them access to a world full of knowledge,
ideas, and opportunities. One of my teachers said, “How can you perform something if you don’t
have knowledge about it? ” Then how will a child gain knowledge if they don't know how to
read? Therefor being able to read is very important.

To contribute to making this idea a reality, one of them is teaching children who can't
read, just like we do in our Lutos projects. We find these kids in our community and teach them
how to read so that, when they grow up, they can use this skill to help their community. It's not
just about teaching them to read; it's about giving them a super-important tool for their future.
Our goal is to make sure every child gets a chance to learn to read early on, so they have more
freedom in their lives and can do good things for their neighborhood when they get older.
