Claveria East Central School has once again struck to the spotlight for nipping awards in the
recently concluded Division Schools press Conference held at Baggao South District, Baggao, Cagayan .
Amongst our budding journalist who sparked in the competition are Cashmere Sheik Flores ( 1 st
Place in Science and Technology Writing English), Ella Crizalie Mandac ( 1 st Place Science and Technology
Writing Filipino), Earl Justine Espiritu ( 3rd in Editorial Cartooning Filipino) and Chris Jace Martinez ( 4 th
Place in Editorial Cartooning English).
This achievement of our children manifests that they are capable of competing in higher
journalism competitions. Year by year, Claveria East Central School reaps awards and recognitions in
journalism and in other DepEd and Non-DepEd competitions. With this, more and more children get
interested to joining Journalism competitions, Trainings and Seminars.
Thus, this qualifies them to the Regional Schools Press Conference at Lallo National High
School ,Cagayan on May 19-21, 2023.
The journalistic potentials of these children are undoubtedly impressive. We have the hope that
they can make it again in the DSPC. As a common problem, financial need is a great challenge to them. It
is for this reason that we are knocking at your generous heart for the financial support for our
contestants particularly of the meal allowance of our journalists with the duration of the contests.
We are forever thankful for the assistance that you may extend to our dear journalists. May God
shower you His abundant blessings.
