INTRODUCTION
Despite the fact that it is true Jesus Christ is the key figure in all of God’s plan, the Holy Spirit
himself focuses our attention to Jesus and seeks to glorify Him. (John 15:26, 16:14).
Many people have gone ahead to suppose that the Holy Spirit is to be completely and ever ignored
in the bible or that he is ever to be as some vague influence, external force impressible energy.

Objectives
Describe the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Christian and the church as a whole.
Describe the process of one being filled with the Holy Spirit.

Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. It means that the Holy Spirit is God, co-equal with
God the Father and the son. The Holy Spirit is a person, and as so, he has feelings, he gets sad and

you all things and we remind you of everything I have said to you.”
(Luke 3:22) “And the Holy Spirit descends on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came
from heaven “you are my son, Whom I love with whom I am well pleased”
(Romans 8:26) “In the same way, the Spirit help us in our weaknesses. We do know what we ought
to pray for, but the spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
One of the reasons the Holy Spirit comes is to give power and boldness to be the witness of Jesus
