but believed on their potential and positive outlook . Their efforts lead to favourable results. Elon
Musk has faced several failures throughout his career, including setbacks with space X rocket
launches, Tesla production challenges, and difficulties with other ventures like SolarCity and the
boring company. However, Musk is known for his resilience and ability to learn from these failures.
He often implements innovative solutions, seeks feedback and preserves until he achieves
success.After multiple space X rockets failure, Musk and his team did not lose hope and analyzed the
issues, made improvements, and eventually achieved successful launches. Overall, Musk’s
willingness to learn from failure without losing hope has been crucial to his success in various
ventures. In the same way, Colonel Harland David Sanders, the iconic founder of Kentucky Fried
Chicken(KFC), faced a remarkable journey filled with challenges and triumphs. Sanders held a variety
of jobs including being a steam engine stoker, an insurance salesman and a filling station operator
but did not lose hope. He began selling Fried Chicken from his roadside restaurant in north Corbin,
Kentucky. Sanders devoted himself to franchising his “ secret recipe”. In 1960 , KFC expanded
rapidly. In 1964, Sanders sold the company to a group of investors. Despite selling the company,
Sanders retained control of operations in Canada and continued as a salaried Brand ambassador for
KFC . Instead of facing rejections and setbacks, Sanders did not lose hope. He kept seeking
opportunities and achieved entrepreneurial success. Last but not least, Oprah Winfrey needs no
introduction. Founder of both Harpo productions and the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), she is a
media mogul with a net worth of approximately 3 billion dollar. Winfrey’s rags-to-riches life story
serves as an inspiration to many and she came in second on Forbes list of America’s Richest Self-
made Women in 2016. But, it’s not just Oprah’s unequivocal financial and popular success what won
her spot on this list. She is also a well- regarded philanthropist, giving generously through self-
founded charities. Winfrey founded Oprah Angel Network in 1998. The charities goal is to “ inspire
individuals to create opportunities that enable underserved Women and children to rise to their
potential” . Oprah’s Angel Network supports charitable project and provides grants for non- profit
organizations that supports that goal. Hence the life stages of Elon Musk, KFC owner, and Oprah
Winfrey are an example of how hope is a greatest driving force behind every success in business.
