Day 1 - Welcome to Athens

Welcome to Athens!

On arrival, our Tour Manager / Station Manager will meet and welcome you outside the airport. Later we proceed to the
hotel and check-in.

Note: Joining direct passenger / NRI can check-in on your own at the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1500 hrs. We
may have to proceed directly for dinner or packed dinner will be provided in case of late arrivals of flight or long queue at
the immigration.

Day 2 - Welcome to Athens

Guided city tour - Visit the Acropolis and the Museum

Today, we go on a guided tour of Athens, we visit to the Acropolis, the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, the
awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Next, we
drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in
1896), and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. Then we drive
along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library. Later, you
can enjoy free time at Plaka.

Day 3 - Welcome to Mykonos

Athens to Mykonos by Ferry – Paradise Beach

Today, we proceed to the Port of Athens to board the Ferry to Mykonos Island – the most famous Greek island and one
of the world’s most popular holiday resorts. The totally whitewashed houses and blue domed Churches fit closely
together to form a one of the kind maze of narrow alleys and streets. On arrival, proceed on an orientation tour of
Mykonos. See the Panagia Paraportiani church and the monastery of Panagia Tourliani. Evening is free to explore
beautiful beaches, and a spectacular sunset on own.

Day 4 - Welcome to Santorini

Mykonos – Santorini by High-Speed Ferry

Today, after breakfast, we proceed to Mykonos port to take the High-Speed ferry to Santorini. On arrival, we check-in to
the hotel. Later, we spend some free time at Kamari Beach, and then proceed to Fira, the beautiful capital of the island
and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. Enjoy a walking tour followed by some free time at Fira.

Day 5 - Welcome to Santorini

9D Atlantis Show and Museum + Santo winery (OPTIONAL) – Tour of Santorini

Today, the morning is free to relax, OR you have a chance to enjoy a 9D Atlantis Show and Museum + Santo winery
(optional). Later, we proceed on a half day Santorini Island tour to the Center of the island and on the highest point
where you will visit the hidden gems of the area. We will see the charming Megalochori village, a labyrinth of winding
alleys, whitewashed houses, and blue-domed churches with ornate bell towers. We also see the 16th century Monastery
of Prophet Elias which was built on the highest point of the Island 567 meters above sea level, from where you will have
a panoramic view of the whole island village of Pyrgos. Next stop will be the traditional village of Oia which is on the
northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top.

Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for Outbound/International Tour Packages


Tax Collection at Source (TCS) at the rate of 5% up to outbound tour of INR 7 lakh and 20% beyond INR 7 lakhs per
individual payer per annum will be levied under section 206C(1G)(b) of the Income Tax Act on outbound tour services.
The TCS collected will be reflected in the 26AS of the passenger in whose name receipt is raised (Payer/s for the
package) for claiming Income Tax credit. Hence the name of the payer & the associated PAN Number on the receipt
should be reconfirmed at the time of making the payment for the holiday package booking.

Non-refund of TCS: In the event of cancellation of services and refund of amount, Tax collected at source under section
206C(1G)(b) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 shall not be refunded (TCS applied on the cancellation amount). The non-
refunded TCS will be reflected in the 26AS of the passenger in whose name the receipt is raised for claiming Income Tax
credit.

In case of no Income Tax Payable against your PAN, you can claim the refund of the TCS amount at the time of filing
your IT returns.

What Your Tour Price Does Not Include?
• If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to
come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable (subject to
availability of seats for the given dates and ticket validity) which will be advised to you by our sales staff / travel
agent. Kindly note, the deviation will be actioned only 30 Days prior to departure date.
• Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g., Coach Driver, Local Guides, Hotel and Restaurant
staff etc. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of EUR 3 per person/per day. For the entire duration of this tour,
which is 07 Days, the total Tips amount is EUR 21 per person to be paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour.
• Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 250,000.
• Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as on 1st March, 2024)
• Government Taxes as applicable are extra.
• The tour cost does not include POE charges and passport charges.
• No porterage included.
• Any expenses of a personal nature such as porterage, laundry expenses, wines, mineral water, food and drink not
in the regular menu provided by us, minibar, telephone calls, etc.
• Meals other than that are mentioned in your itinerary.
• Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that
mentioned in your itinerary.
• Private airport transfers, Cost of Suggested / Optional Excursions.
Payment Terms
Payments:
All payments towards the tour cost must be made by the client to the company in accordance with the procedure and
time frame mentioned herein below. All payments made within 10 days prior to the tour departure date will have to be
paid via Bank Transfer / Demand Draft (no cheques will be accepted). PAN Card is mandatory for Terms and
Conditions payments exceeding `50,000 or if value of file exceeds `2 lacs or equivalent Foreign currency. INR
payments made towards the foreign exchange component of your tour will be calculated as per the ROE (rate of
exchange) prevailing on the day of payment . Payment towards FX component made in INR has to come directly from
the passenger keeping with RBI Guidelines. The card that is swiped for payment of the tour’s foreign exchange should
be of the client himself / herself. Client cannot use his / her card for payment of another person’s foreign exchange
component of the tour package except for his / her dependent parents and / or child or children. The FX payment is a
part of BTQ (Basic Travel Quota) of the Client.

3% service charges (i.e. remittance charges) would be applicable, if client chooses to pay us in Foreign currency
notes. Proof of purchase from Full Fledged Money Changer (FFMC) should accompany such payments made by Client
when above USD 2000. Client holding a passport issued by a country other than India will be required to make
payment in foreign currency for the foreign currency component of the tour cost and not in INR. Payment Procedure:
We urge our Customers to ensure that all payment/(s) are made to our Company's designated Bank account only and
to insist on a printed payment acknowledgement slip and receipt. Customer should not make payment/(s) to any staff
or individual’s bank account or any third party bank account, in the event of which the Customer shall be solely
responsible and/or liable for the consequences thereof and the Company hereby expressly disclaims any responsibility
and/or liability arising thereto.

Full payment must be made in accordance with the procedure stated above. In case of noncompliance thereto by the
client, the company reserves a right to cancel the tour /booking of the client and forfeit the amount already deposited
with the Company and in case of the shortfall recover further monies as cancellation charges mentioned herein.

The receipt issued by the Company is subject to the amount being irrevocably credited and realised in the Company’s
Bank account. In case of online/electronic payment of monies to the designated Company’s bank account by the
Client, the Client undertakes to irrevocably credit and realise the monies dues in Company’s Bank account and not
issue any instructions to his/her/their banker or cause to do any act, deed or thing in furtherance of reversing,
debiting, nullifying or recovering the due credit made to the Company’s Bank account. The Client further undertakes
and confirms that the Client shall be bound to pay the monies towards the tour cost to the Company, if the same is
reversed, debited, nullified, or recovered from Company’s Bank Account due to any technical snag, system error,
internet issues or for any reason whatsoever. The Client shall voluntarily make good the loss caused to Company due
to such reversal, debit, nullity, recovery of monies from Company’s Bank account without waiting for any official
intimation from the Company to the said effect. Client hereby indemnify and keeps indemnified the Company from all
claims, demands, liabilities, expenses and losses arising due to any and/or all reversal, debit, nullity, recovery of
monies from Company’s Bank account due to any technical snag, system error, internet issues or for any reason
whatsoever, without any further objection, demur or protest.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS:
All services such as Airline seats / Hotel accommodation / ground transportation etc. for group tours are pre blocked
well in advance. We are still liable to pay to all our suppliers / vendors and bear the overhead costs involved in
rendering services to you. You shall be bound by the cancellation charges which shall apply when the cancellation
happens on your own accord or due to any circumstances. If circumstances make you cancel the Tour, the
cancellation must be intimated to us in writing. You consent for levy of the Cancellation Charges by the Company are
as per the policy mentioned as below:

Booking amount will be applicable for cancellations of files on undecided departure date. The above mentioned
cancellation term is applicable for passengers travelling to AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND, ASIA, AFRICA, AMERICA and
EUROPE. In the event, you have opted for the Thomas Cook Trip Protection, your Cancellation Charges shall be
calculated and determined by the Company in accordance with the Thomas Cook Trip Protection. The Terms and
Conditions of Thomas Cook Trip Protection will apply. The company reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to the
departure, without assigning any reason. In such an event, all monies paid by you will be fully refunded forthwith in
Indian Rupees currency only, but no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid
will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume
responsibility for any additional cost or any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other
arrangements not done through the company. The company reserves the right to forfeit the booking deposit in case of
any cancellations. Passengers whose visas are not granted by the consulates must intimate us in advance i.e. before
the date of commencement/departure of the tour. Cancellation charges will be calculated as per the cancellation
policy, basis the date of receipt of written communication from the Passenger intimating us about the rejection of the
visa, which shall be the determining factor to apply the relevant Cancellation charges slab pertaining to number of
days prior to departure and accordingly Cancellation Charges shall be determined and levied.

Important Notes :
Airline And Airfare:
• The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as on 1st March, 2024.
• Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes,
etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers.
• Passengers missing flights to note that the entire ticket gets no show and new return ticket needs to be bought by
the passengers themselves.
For prices
• and departure dates from your hub city please contact our local sales offices/travel agents.
• Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense.

Hotels:
• All hotels will be either around the airport area or on the outskirts.
• The hotel room size in Europe would be up to 16 sq. mts.
• Most hotels in Europe have only Twin beds. The double bed will be Queen size and not King size.
• As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double
room.
• For Child with bed: At times hotel don’t have enough roll away beds, in that case they might give a double and a
separate single room.
• A person 11.99 years and below is considered a child and 12 years and above, an adult.
• Hotel rooms may not be air conditioned / air cooled nor will fans be provided. Air conditioning / cooling in hotels
are set as per European weather conditions.
• Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local
authority.
• During heat wave in Europe air conditioning of the hotels and coaches may cease to function as they are not built
for such high temperatures.
• Most hotels in Europe do not provide tea kettles in the rooms.
• Due to international events and trade fairs all throughout Europe such as the Air Show, music festivals, ice skating
championships etc., you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
• In Switzerland the stay may be split in two hotels
• Any damage caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers.
• We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
• In certain cities hotels have not started the buffet breakfasts yet and if the same does not change by the time the
tours begin, we will either provide breakfast or the groups will be taken to an Indian / local restaurant for breakfast

Coaches:
• Most of your journey in Europe is by coach and hence you are requested to keep the coach clean.
• Due to hygienic reasons, it is not permitted to use toilets on the coach. However, the tour manager will make
comfort stops during long drives.
• Eating and drinking is not permitted on the coach.
• One check-in bag and one handbag per person only, due to limited boot space on the coach.
• In major European cities, there are parking restrictions for coaches, and it may not be possible to stop at all the
places during the city tour. Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible for a photo stop.
• Coaches are non-wheelchair compliant. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.
• Due to private coaches being forbidden inside most of the European cities, as per EU norms to preserve them and
to avoid getting them polluted and overcrowded, most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and on foot.

Meals:
• Meals are pre–set and a–la carte is not possible.
• On certain days, a packed lunch will be provided.

Sightseeing:
• On certain departures, we may sometimes amend / reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions
will remain the same.
• Generally, you will have to walk to sightseeing places, amusement parks and the airports sometimes for a long
distance; however, the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Manager. It is advisable to carry a good pair of
comfortable sports shoes. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as
possible.

General:
• On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
• A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
• Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
• Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts
and bag snatching. TCIL will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
• Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is
able to provide assistance to the disabled client.
• TCIL shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident,
death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes,
war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers.
Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
• Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger
above the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.
• The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delays or changes in
schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
• The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any
particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the
itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
• There are no refunds for any services i.e., meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour.
• All optional activities will have to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour. Payments to be
made by cash in EURO only. (Credit or Debit cards not accepted).
• Optional tours are booked and paid on 100% non-refundable and non cancellation policy.
• GST will be applicable for all optional activities pre-paid in India.
• In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the
airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.
• The images used in this brochure are for representation purposes only.
• Tours operated are subject to RBI / GOI regulations. Part of the tour cost will be paid in EURO out of your BTQ at
prevailing rate of exchange.
