SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN FOR GRADE 10 - EDISON

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:


a. identify the parts of an argumentative essay;
b. construct sentences following the pronoun-antecedent agreement rules,
and;
c. locate the seven parts of an argumentative essay in the given essay.

PICTURE ANALYSIS!
There will be two pictures that will be flash on TV. The students will analyze it
and answer the questions that will be ask by the teacher.

b. Presentation of the lesson


The new topic will be presented through an activity, “Picture Analysis” where
students will analyze the given picture.

Directions: Tell whether each statement is True or False. Clap once if True and Twice if
false.

"Locate Me!”
The class will be divided into four groups. Each group must locate the seven
parts of an argumentative essay in the essay that will be given to them.

f. Generalization
To check the student's understanding of the lesson, a few questions will be
asked:
1. Why do we need to learn about pronoun–antecedent agreement
and rules?
2. Why is it essential to ensure pronouns agree with their antecedents
in writing?
3. How can understanding and applying pronoun-antecedent
agreement rules improve the quality of written communication?

Analyze each statement below and identify what is being referred to. Choose your
answer from the box. Write your answer in your activity sheet.
