Junior Project Engineer Engineering Director MENAC

Business Contribution:
Manage activities related to new designs with 3D models and stress analysis, make any required calculations to back up
bidding and execution jobs, work and support any other technical activities within the Engineering Team. Contribute as technical
support for the region as a Subject Matter Expert for the JI activities across the region. Actively participate in Operational
Excellence initiatives and its strategy. Focus on customer demands bringing an effective solution, always with the highest level
of safety and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare all necessary CAD drawings by using AutoCAD or Creo based on the site requirement or future
developments.
• Work along with the Engineering team to find adequate solutions for further developments on all the business
service lines.
• Solving problems involving new designs, material specs, reaction forces, stress analysis, mass and energy
transport, physics, mathematics, engineering, and related physical /natural sciences.
• Perform engineering calculations such as cleaning force ratio for compressible and non-compressible flow, fluid
velocity, volume and mass flow rates, reaction force, heat, and mass transfer.
• Be the regional support as a SME for the JI activities across the MENAC region.
• Maintain competency of the personnel’s by providing applicable training & assessment
• Mentor junior engineers to instruct them in the company’s services, values, and goals.
• Assist and join the sales teams on technical meetings with different clients for your Engineering expertise.
• Leads the Hot Tapping Pre-Engineering side to deliver results in accordance with plan.
• Ensure correct technical resources for job requirements.
• Identifies and addresses any non-compliances of operational issues.
• Plan and execute committed jobs by arranging suitable resources.
• Promote HSE awareness and maintain Safety standard throughout the execution.
• Liaise with Logistics Department to arrange site transportation.
• Interact with other Operational Base Engineer/Managers and staff to cross utilize resources.
• Coordinate with the other entities of the group globally.
• Close interaction with design, production, quality, and health/safety
• Embrace and practice LEAD culture across business.
• Provide On-site survey and client support as and when required.
• Work within the Hydratight deliverable standards and adhere to local laws and terms of the agent.
• Development of non-standard procedures
• Assist the Proposals Engineers in creating equipment, manpower requirements, duration, and
methodologies for job bidding purposes.

Required Capabilities (describe scope of knowledge and ability of the position):


• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering sciences
• Strong organizational skills,
• Previous experiences on a shutdown and construction project execution
• High level of knowledge on any 3D CAD software’s
• Ability to read drawings to have a clear understanding of the design and its functionality.
• Confident decision maker
• Ability to deal with people.
• Excellent communications skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience on the oil and gas services
