FROG DISSECTION
BSN-1 SECTION B

JAN. 9, 2024

NAME: Cedrick Ron A. Pakelman

YEAR & SECTION: BSN 1-B

Objectives :
● Create an engaging and informative video, accurately labeling the frog's skeletal and digestive systems, to
demonstrate a practical application of theoretical knowledge gained during the dissection process.
● Successfully complete the frog dissection as a requirement of Section B by January 10, 2024, ensuring a
comprehensive understanding of amphibian anatomy.

As we engage in the required frog dissection assignment in Section B, our first-semester academic adventure has
taken a hands-on turn. Like other sections, ours is entrusted with the complex investigation of amphibian anatomy in
accordance with the curriculum requirements. We are dedicated to producing a thorough video that captures the
dissection procedure in addition to the dissecting table. A crucial component of our project is marking the frog's
skeletal and digestive systems precisely, giving our scientific endeavor an extra degree of accuracy. This immersive
experience enhances our comprehension of amphibian anatomy and pushes us to apply our theoretical knowledge in
real-world settings, promoting a comprehensive approach to teaching.

The dissection of frogs in our section resulted in a group investigation of biological details. Seeing the frog's
internal organs during dissection was a truly amazing event for our group. To our further shock, during the careful
investigation, we found that the heart kept beating and pumping blood even after it was removed, demonstrating the
remarkably robust nature of amphibian circulatory systems. The frog's digestive system and the human body share
many similarities, even though the frog's organs are much smaller. This was made clear by the dissection process.
Spirited conversations within our groups and the realization that biological processes are interconnected across species
were both sparked by the shared anatomical traits, offering an illuminating perspective.

As we wrap up our discussion on frog dissection, we will have learned a great deal, as evidenced by the
combination of our varied points of view and common amazement. The groups working on their separate dissection
projects in our section have all been amazed by the complexity of amphibian anatomy as a whole. The realization that
the digestive system of humans is similar to that of frogs, despite the latter's smaller size, has been a poignant reminder
of the interdependence of all living forms.

An interesting aspect of our academic endeavor is our ongoing collaboration towards producing a thorough video
and precisely marking the digestive and skeletal systems. There's a sense of shared excitement and dedication among
the members of various groups as the deadline for all of our outputs, which is January 10, 2024, draws closer. This joint
scientific exploration journey began with some trepidation but has grown into a rewarding and thought-provoking
experience that combines learning with the excitement of exploration. Our initiatives demonstrate the curiosity and
collaborative attitude that are flourishing within our academic community, aiding in our own academic progress.
