Pro Biotech Industries Pvt Ltd (PBIL) has a fundamental responsibility to uphold its role in
ensuring a healthy and sustainable environment. We will strive to conduct our business in ways
that protect and preserve the environment and reduce environmental impact of its activities,
products and Services. Protection of environment is an integral part of our manufacturing
practice. Top management of the company is fully committed to implement this environment
policy, standards and management programs, ensure the provision of resources necessary to
achieve the organization’s environmental objectives and foster continual improvement in
environmental performance.

To drive towards this ambition, we will take the responsibility by adhering to the following
guiding principles.

o Comply with ISO 14001: 2004 standard requirements and all applicable statutory and
regulatory requirements of Nepal relating to environmental stewardship.
o Identify, evaluate and address environmental risks and emerging trends; use regular,
periodic and objective assessments to ensure compliance with International Standards and
applicable legal requirements.
o Provide clearly defined roles and responsibilities, training, communication systems and
participation opportunities to promote effective engagement by employees at each level.
o Establish and track the organization’s environmental performance goals and objectives.
o Manage environmental incidents in a manner that protects our assets, employees,
contractors, customers and the public, as well as the image and trademarks of the Company
and the system, consistent with applicable legal and ISO requirements.
o Collaborate with public and private entities, governments, non-governmental organizations,
other businesses and local communities, to advance environmental stewardship initiatives, a
sustainable business and sustainable communities.
o Ensure the Environment policy is communicated throughout the organization and other
stakeholders and made available to public and interested parties on demand.

This policy will be reviewed annually and/or when required for its relevance.
