▪ Standard Layers
Model
• It is mandatory to follow standard layers.
• A proper CTB (plot style) must be used matching
these standard layers.

• CTB color-is short for

color dependent plot style
• Command (LA ) check
description.
Text style

• Text style : T25-X ,Where X is the scale used for this drawing
• T25 style shall be used in space naming for xref files & shall be used for description & leaders at sheet files.

• In large scale drawings we can use T20 to replace T25 (like scale 1/200 ).

• T35-X is dedicated to titles only.

• TORIENT command align the text to significant line.

Dimension style

• Dimension style : DX ,Where X is the scale used for this drawing

• Axis and Total dimensions are the only dimensions to be located at Xref files

• DIMDISASSCOCIATE command unlock the dimension link to

particular object.

• Note :- Dimensions and text must be parallel to the lower or left side of the drawing
Model files

* Significant data must be available on model files :-

1- Axis ,axis attributes and its dimensions.

2- Plan levels. Top Of Concrete

Finish Floor Level
Fixed Ground Level
Finished Pavement Level
Top Of Parapet
* All levels are relative to FGL level . Top Of Steel

3 Spaces names.

4 Ducts \ Shafts.

5. Equipment.
Model space symbols:-

o Attribute is text defined block- same block reference with different text values ..

Title–block

Attach the sheet block (Title block) @ base point (0,0,0).

Title–block-Ax.dwg (Ax=A0,A1,A2,A3 or A4).

o The standard size for sheet block:-

1- A0 size 860 *1210 mm.
