To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing in regards to Natalie Insinna, who was my student in Practice III at NYU’s Silver
School of Social Work in the Fall of 2023.

Natalie is an excellent candidate for a school social work position. The nature of our class was
such that Natalie was able to actively participate in walking through cases, exploring theories
and interventions, engage in role play and bring in actual cases she was working with at her
internship at Barnum Woods Elementary School.

Her participation in class helped facilitate in depth discussions around intervention and treatment
and as a school social worker myself for the past 15 years, many of my examples, case studies
and prompts reflected school social work specifically.

Natalie is a thoughtful and engaging clinician who clearly put her students first and wanted to
make sure to provide them with the most effective and impactful interventions and treatment.
Natalie would often be talking about her treatment planning in class, making sure she was
optimizing her skills to help her students’ reach their goals.

I have no doubt Natalie will make a great school social worker. Natalie’s experience in schools
and working with young people make her a strong fit for any school. She is eager to learn and to
grow and will be a wonderful addition to any school.

Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions.

All the best,

Danielle Esposito, LCSW
