• Works as a PRN PCNA (patient care nursing assistant) and provides quality patient care
to multiple patients and their families in the ICU, PCU, Nursing Observation, and Medical
Surgical floors.
• Documented and maintained accurate records of patient care conditions, concerns, and
progress.
• Took vitals, blood glucose readings, and ordered urine samples when requested and
followed up with healthcare personnel with any abnormal values.
• Assisted in repositioning patients for comfortability, various activities of daily living
(ADLs), & personal hygiene.
• Cared for and monitored at risk patients with various medical conditions to promote

Projects
African American Studies Curricula Jan. 2021- present

• In the process of developing an African American Studies Program Curricula that will be
presented and hopefully taught in the future at my high school alma mater, Hawken
School.
• Project initially started during senior year of high school and will be continued
throughout my college education. This program curriculum will dive deep into the
culture and history of the African American community and provide students (both
African American and non-African American) with insight about how African American
history has shaped our country's past and continues to shape our present and future.

Nutrition of the Older Adult Dialysis Patient Video Presentation November 2023

• Created a teaching plan tool in the form of a video presentation to highlight the
nutritional needs of elderly dialysis patients for Gerontological Nursing Practice course.
• Defined end-stage renal disease, dialysis (& it’s purpose), risks for dialysis, electrolyte
imbalances caused by ESRD, dietary & nutritional changes, and community resources.

PCOS Patient-Education Presentation November 2022

• Created a patient education tool in a video presentation format to highlight the


pathology behind PCOS for Pathophysiology & Pharmacology I course.
• Defined PCOS and its pathophysiology, how it’s diagnosed, risk factors, prevention, and
pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for PCOS.

COVID-19 Vaccination Video Presentation March 2022

• Collaborated with Global Health Nursing Ambassador peers and Japanese nursing
students from Chiba University to create presentation on COVID-19 vaccination
hesitancy in young adult population.
• Compared and contrasted reasons for vaccine hesitancy in young adult populations in
the US and Japan, the vaccinations offered for COVID-19, side effects of the
vaccinations, and the importance of receiving the vaccinations.
