OLUK TOM holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development of Makerere University (Nsamizi Hall) and a
Certificate in Computer Application. I therefore have expertise in computer application in different
packages/fields especially Microsoft office packages, spread sheets, internet harnessing, soft ware
installation among others. As a degree holder in Social Development; I’m a good researcher, I therefore
possess attributes such as research, survey, monitoring evaluation, good communication skills, good
interpersonal and community mobilization skills and above all a good team player and confidentiality.

 Collect data on PDM activities at household and community level
 Participate in training at the local government level
 Participate in mobilization of community and also sensitize the community
 Collect information on all persons, household, institutions and communities in the assigned village
 Fill in the questionnaires on the application following the instructions given; using your smart phone.
 Check the completeness of the questionnaire after each interview
 Ensure that the captured data is transmitted to the servers
 Prepare a report at the end of the enumeration by answering a questionnaire on the tablet
 Observe research ethics.

 Listing and confirmation of households to receive the nets in the assigned village (s) using tablet

 Manage and take security of the nets while distributing
 Confirmation of the total nets received before distribution exercise
 Sensitization of the community on government programs especially under the net
 Report to the supervisor on any challenges met during the exercise
 Return the balance of the nets to the main store at the end of each day of work

SUPERVISORS ON PARISH BASED M A N A G E M E N T INFORMATIONS SYSTEMS

The Government of Uganda is implementing the Parish Development Model (PDM) with a specific focus on
total transformation of the subsistence households into the money economy. In collaboration with Local
Governments, the Ministry of Information Communication Technology and National Guidance (.kfolCT &
NG) and Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBDS) is implementing pillar six (6) - Parish-Based Management
Information system i.e. household and village profiling. r

The purpose of this letter is to invite you to attend the training of Data Clerks and Sub County supemsors
