1. Phrasal Verbs (go/get)
Check the information below about phrasal verbs.
Different verbs can take the same particles to make phrasal vebs.
Look at the verbs we can make with go and get using the same particles:

2. Prepositional Verbs.
A prepositional verb is a verb that needs to be followed by a specific preposition.
Unlike phrasal verbs, the preposition does not change the meaning of the verb.
The following tables show some common prepositional verbs and examples of how to use them.

3. Verb Patterns (Had better / would rather)
Had Better
We use “Had better” to talk about actions we think people should do or are advisable in a specific

6. Relative Pronouns
We use a relative pronoun to refer to a noun mentioned before.
The relative pronoun introduces a relative clause.
A relative clause can :
clarify/ define the noun or provide extra information about the noun
