A. Content Standard The learner realizes that information in a written text may be
selected and organized to achieve a particular purpose.
D. Objectives At the end of the session, the learners should be able to:
1. identify the steps in developing a problem-and-
solution text;
2. determine appropriate transitional devices for a
problem-and-solution text;
3. write possible solutions to the identified problems.

A. Reviewing of Past Lesson Preliminary Activities
