CERTIFICATE REQUEST SUBMISSION

CREATING AN ACCOUNT

Enter : email Address, Exporter name, Exporter country, Exporter address and
click on “Register” (an email containing a link will be sent to your email address)

Click on the link that appears in the email, it will take you back to
the Exporter Portal

1) Set a Password, Confirm Password, Then click on “CHANGE”
2) Login tab appears – Enter e-mail address & Password &
click “LOGIN”

Select first option – Republic of Kenya – Pre-Export Verification of


Conformity to Standards. Then click : OK

Four Tabs appear on screen – 1st Tab : General Question – Select
who will collect Certificate of Conformity

1) Enter Seller and Buyer details, All fields marked with “ * “ must be filled
2) Please select the Party who will pay for SGS service (Only one party can
be selected) 3) TAX ID No. (TAN) should be entered

1) Enter Place of Inspection details 2) Supplier details to be entered
only if supplier is different from seller

INSPECTION DETAILS MUST BE FILLED COMPLETELY FOR :
1) ROUTE A SHIPMENTS AND
2) ROUTE B & ROUTE C SHIPMENT WITH INSPECTION.

FOR ROUTE B AND ROUTE C SHIPMENTS
UNDER FIELD “GOODS TO BE SHIPPED” WHILE FILLING
ITEM LINES, SOR NO. / SOL NUMBER MUST BE
MENTIONED.

Manufacturer details to be entered only if Manufacturer is
different from Seller

Enter Invoice details

1)Click on Add transaction documents – Browse &
Drag Packing list and Quality documents into the
system. 2) Quality documents include : Test reports,
Calibration certificates, ISO 9001 certificate etc.

Check the Invoice and add the Items you’re sending – Details of HS code,
Qty, Unit, Goods description, Brand, Model No. etc to be entered

If items are 5 or more, faster way would be to work with Template

Shipment information : Drop down menu for each field –
Select correct details

Check if transport document is available and upload it on the
portal

Last step : Ensure that all 4 panels appear in “Green”. It implies information is
complete. Now click on Submit button. The request will be submitted.

If any Panel appears in “Orange”, it implies some information is missing. Check


and enter missing details. Once all Panels are “Green” click on Submit button.
