Moving on, let’s have a review about your last discussion with Ma’am Armenion. (post the numbers)

It seems that you really understand your last discussion, therefore, we can now proceed to our new topic.
And with that said, I prepared a game called guess the movie. It is for you to have insights or idea about
our discussion for today. Are you ready? (read instructions)

I know you are all familiar with the tragic love story of Jack and Rose. They are like on two different
worlds wherein Rose came from a wealthy family while Jack is just from the bottom class of the society.
Jack died when the titanic ship, but Rose’s love remains until the end. And this movie or story is
somehow similar to our discussion for today.
That is the question we are going answer as we unfold the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet.
But before we go on to their story, I have here the goals that we need to achieve upon tackling our lesson.
Wherein at the end of the discussion, you should be able to: (read)

Let’s proceed with unlocking some words that we will encounter later our discussion.
Playwright – a person who writes a play.
Feud – when a two people or groups have conflict, or they are angry with each other for a long time.
Archetypal – a typical type of person or a thing.
Monk – member of a religious community, now known as a father or a priest.
Count – a noble title or ranking in European countries, also known as Don or Donya in the Philippines.
Noble – a well-known and respectful person or group in European countries.
Restrain – prevent from doing something.

Now that we already understand some given words, we can now proceed to our discussion. Who is the
person who see on the screen? Right, he is William Shakespeare. (read)
Romeo and Juliet which is the highlight of our discussion for today. Now that we already know who
William Shakespeare is, let’s now know more about hos one of the most famous plays in all time, the
Romeo and Juliet. After knowing the story, let’s take a look at the important character in the play.
