mini animals mask template, song chart and innovation
Activities:

TIME
a. Pre lesson:

 Teacher shows pupils 3 animal masks. Pupils name the animals.


 Teacher gets the pupils to talk about the animals by asking questions.
THEME  Teacher puts up the song chart on the board (refer to TB page 48)
World of  Teacher sings the song, pupils listen and follow.
Knowledge  Teacher introduces the actions.
 Teacher gets the pupils to sing the song with actions.

b. While lesson:
 Teacher shows a sample of an animal crown.
TOPIC  Teacher explains the steps to do the crown.
UNIT 6  Teacher randomly distributes the materials and pupils produce their own animal
Pet’s World crown.
 Teacher guides the Linus pupils during this activity.

c. Post lesson:
 Teacher groups the pupils according to their animal crowns.
 Pupils sing the song according to the 3 verses.
 For the first verse, the “duck” group sings with actions, followed by “ponies” group
and lastly “parrot” group.
