Degree Program Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
Program Goals The BSA program aims to educate students in the scientific habit of thought and entrepreneurial skills and prepare
them to become globally competitive professionals with entry-level competencies in technical agriculture. It
emphasizes the processes and techniques of identifying, diagnosing and analyzing problems, and in designing,
packaging, and applying technologies needed in the development and conservation of the agriculture and food
system resources. The BSA degree is aligned with the Level 6 of the Philippine Qualification Framework (PQF).

Course Description This course will introduce the students to various knowledge and skills needed for conducting agricultural research.
Generally, this course will course will teach the various qualitative and quantitative methods in the conduct of
agricultural research
Course Desired At the end of the semester, the students must have:

1. Grasp the fundamental principles of agricultural research.
2. Develop skill in designing robust research experiments for agricultural inquiries.
3. Proficiently collect, manage, and analyze agricultural data using appropriate techniques.
4. Interpret research results critically and draw relevant conclusions.
5. Communicate research findings effectively through written reports and presentations.
• To solve the students’ grade every term, 60-40 Point system will be used. The final grade of the students will be determined by adding the
accumulated points from the midterm and the finals.
