Guessing Game:
Show a different pictures that uses different sources of force and
have the students guess what force is being used.

Group 1: Paper Plane


Provide materials and procedures.
Have them create a plane out or paper.
Observe what makes if move. Report to the class.

Group 2: Paper Boat


Provide materials and procedures.
Have them create a boat out or paper.
Observe what makes if move. Report to the class.

Group 3: Gravity
Provide materials with instructions.
Show them a pictures of moving objects.
Let them investigate how the object move and identify what is
common in the pictures.
Record the observation and report to the class as a group.

Group 4: Magnets
Provide materials with instructions.
Provide magnet and objects that are attracted and repelled.
Identify if the objects are attracted or repelled to magnet.
Report to the class as a group.
D. Discussing new concepts and EXPLANATION
practicing new skills #1 Explain the concept of different sources of force using real-life
examples and visuals. Encourage students to ask questions and
participate.

Force is a push or a pull. It can make objects move.

Force from Wind


Wind is a force that makes objects move. It causes the branches
and leaves of trees move.

Force from Water


Water is a force that makes object move. Running water causes
boats, stones and rocks move.

Force from Magnet


Magnet haas force. It can make some metals move. A magnet
can move things made of iron and steel.
Force from Gravity
Gravity is the force that pulls all things toward the earth.
For example: When you throw a ball upward.

Force from Electricity


There are some things does not move or work on their own. They
need energy of other things. The energy from electricity has force
to move these things.
Generalization Ask the following questions:
What is force?
Where does force come from?
Who can give me example of sources of force?
How does the force of gravity affect our daily lives?
How does the force of electricity affect our daily lives?
How does the force of wind affect our daily lives?
How does the force of water affect our daily lives?
How does the force affect our daily lives?
Give me some examples that you are using force in your daily
lives.
E. Discussing new concepts and ELABORATE
practicing new skills#2 Group Activity!
Group the pupils in to three groups each groups will be given
different tasks.

Group 1: Define what is force and list down the sources of force.

Group 2: Name the following pictures according to the sources


of force and explain how it works.

Group 3: Match the word with the picture to complete the


passage.

Group 4: Make atleast 1 sentence that describes the sources of


force.

Developing Mastery Ask the following question to identify if the pupils really
understand the lesson.
1. What is force?
2. Where does force came from?
3. What are those spources of forces?
4. Give me an example each source.
5. Can you think of any situations where multiple sources of
force act on an object at the same time?
6. How will you use force in your everyday living?

Extended Activity Assignment
Create a poster showcasing at least three different sources of
force. Include illustrations and descriptions of how each source of
force is used in everyday life.
