INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this module is to Ask for and give personal
information using vocabulary related to personal appearance,
occupations, family members, and personal information to describe
people.

Reading: Meet My family

7. Read the text about the Martinez Family and complete the activities.

We are the Martinez family. This is our family picture. I am Mr. Martinez. We are
Mexican, but we live in Los Angeles. We all have different occupations. I am a chef,
and I work in a small Mexican restaurant. Mrs. Martinez, my wife, is a Spanish
teacher in a local School in L.A. My wife has students from different countries. We
have three children: Gregorio my oldest son, Isabel and Claudia. Gregorio and
Isabel are adults now, but Claudia is a teenager. Gregorio is a writer, but he
doesn´t work in an office. He works at home. Gregorio writes articles for a
newspaper. Isabel works in a hospital, but she is not a doctor. She is a nurse.
Claudia works in different places. She´s a photography student. She takes pictures
of exotic places. We are happy living in the US.
