• RA 9593, Section 54:
“xxx The TIEZA and the Department shall take into
Legal Basis
consideration the importance of maintaining and preserving
the then PTA now TIEZA assets xxx”
• The provision of fencing will secure the perimeter of the
identified properties and will contribute to the increase of its
appraised value.
• The first Detailed Engineering Design was completed on 2021.
Justification
However, due to the on-going pandemic and unavailability of
fund, the implementation of the project was deferred. Re-
evaluation of construction material cost was performed in
2022, which resulted in the adjustment of the ABC amount.
